Angela has been with us doing her online virtual training for 24 weeks.

She has seen some amazing results and has improved her overall health.

Each week we set new goals/targets in these 4 main pillars:
1. exercise/movement
2. Nutrition
3. Lifestyle
4. Recovery

Remember not all results have to specifically come from reducing body fat or lifting PBs each week. Each individual has there pain point and that will determine where they want to see improvements from.

Here are some of Angela’s results in 24weeks:
1. lowered blood pressure( was previously high)
2. Increased her daily energy
3. Improved her sleep routine, which improved her quality of sleep.
4. Improved her lower back pain she was having each day
5. Reduced her plantar fasciitis flare ups
6. Reduced her daily headaches due to improving poor posture
7. Improved her breathing mechanics to allow more belly breathing.

RESTRICTIONS in mobility LIMIT optimal movement.

This is why it’s so crucial for you to get a movement screen done prior to starting any new training program to avoid and future injures.

Just because a training program appears to look good on paper, you need to be sure it matches your movement availability to avoid injury.

This is why before we write Any new program for our clients, they will all go through a Movement screen to asses mobility and any limiting factors that may have.

So please make sure you don’t just jump into any training program before understanding your movement availability.

With Lockdown easing off and now being able to enter the gym on the 11th October, it’s so important to start your training off right.

If you are coming back to the gym pretty fresh and not a lot of training under your belt through lockdown, and not sure on how to get started again, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to use the first 2-3 weeks to go through a Training block called General preparation phase.

This is where we develop baseline strength, improve muscle imbalances between limbs, increase stabiliser strength through joints & plug any energy leaks.

Once you complete this program for 2-3 weeks, you should be ready to tackle a more intense training schedule with more complex lifts and the confidence of not injuring yourself.

Today was the last session for & .blv.

It been a absolute pleasure guiding them along their health and fitness journey.

Seeing both of them achieve so much pre lockdown and then also continue that success through lockdown and really gaining some great life long habits that will benefit them both for the future.
