🥎 WSAS ALUMNI ON THE WORLD STAGE🥎

The Aussie Spirit begun their World Cup campaign this morning with a 7-1 win over Czechia.

We are so proud to see WSAS Alumni on the world stage, and look forward to cheering Taylah Tsitsikronis, Rachel Lack and Kandra Lamb on for the remainder of the tournament!

Catch them, along with the rest of team as they compete in the WBSC and look to qualify for the finals!

🌟 UAA INDIGENOUS TALENT ID DAY 🌟

We're excited to announce that the Western Sydney Academy of Sport will be hosting a UAA Indigenous Talent ID Day in 2026!

This FREE opportunity gives young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander athletes the chance to showcase their skills, connect with experienced coaches, and explore future sporting pathways in a supportive environment.

Registrations are now open, and we would love to see you there!

🥇 ONE OF OURS, ON THE WORLD STAGE 🥇

Patrick Beach has done it again - and this time it was on the biggest stage of all.

Our former Softball athlete made his CommBank Socceroos debut yesterday, starting in goal for Australia's FIFA World Cup opener against Turkey... and produced a performance nobody will forget. 8 saves, a clean sheet, and a 2-0 win in Vancouver.

Patrick came up through our Softball program before crossing codes to football, and we love seeing how the athletic foundations built here at WSAS continue to open doors, wherever the sport takes our athletes.

From WSAS to the World Cup. We couldn't be prouder👏

Delivered in partnership with Rowing NSW, The Rowers - Nepean Rowing Club and Sydney Rowing Club this program plays a vital role in identifying, developing and supporting talented rowing athletes in Western Sydney.
