Hey fitwisers...I haven’t spoken to you all in a while as I took a sabbatical from FB. I needed it badly. I have some news for you all...
It’s with a heavy heart that I am closing Fitwise at the end of the year and will no longer be personal training. I am looking to focus on a few other opportunities and my teaching. I have been training part time for over a decade now, at times working over night in residential care and going straight to training or working for council and going straight to training and studying my double degree in youth work/sport management and going straight to training. It has been very challenging at times and I have loved every minute but sometimes things just run their race.
I have met some amazing people along the way and created friendships that I never otherwise would have. Over the last decade I met a girl, had a kid, married the girl and had another kid, moved to the country and started living a better life and the one constant was my personal training. I now teach Youth Work at the same University I studied and really love it. I have taken my pt skills (ability to present in front of large groups) into this and it has been paying off. I have an exciting apparel business starting up called Fitwise Apparel where we have been organising basketball uniforms for local teams and focussing on other sports as well.
So at Christmas time this year we will have our last Fitwise Christmas party to celebrate a decade of training and friendships. Old clients will all be
Invited to our place to have home made pizzas and spit roast. Look out for the invite and rsvp..
Lastly I would just like to thank every single client that has made this business possible. Fitwise is not about me, it was about the community I wanted to create. The lives I wanted to help change and I know I have accomplished that with people. I wanted training to be fun, fast and get results which were about living a healthier, fitter, stronger life. Thank you all
