Even if this is the only disc golf shot you ever see, I can assure you it will be the best -- a hole-in-one that needs to be seen to be believed.

Big thanks to Dave Feldberg and Latitude 64 discs for providing the school with 40 discs! Means a lot guys, . So with all the discs donated, bought, awarded etc, the Roma area gained about 150 discs in 3 days!!! Awesome all round, Big Rig 2016 - Bring it on

We are headed outback again! All the way to Roma and the amazing 9 basket course designed by Jay ‘Yeti’ Reading. Roma is located approximately 5 hours west of Brisbane. We will attempt to organise transport for anyone wishing to attend from Brisbane, just message nate at the email mentioned below, or join the event page on facebook to find out who is going and when.

Beginning on Saturday at (May 9th) at 2pm, we will have 2 rounds of a single disc event. Experienced players will choose left/right for the first round, and long tees the second. New players will play left and right for the 2 rounds. Entry will be included in tournament costs, and is available to locals on the day for $5 including a used disc to keep, or $10 for a new one. What will be your weapon of choice? Choose wisely and the title will be yours!

The main event will begin bright and early on Sunday, sign-ons from 8am, with an 8:30 players meeting and a 9am sharp start. 4 rounds of 9 holes (Left, Right and the new LONG layout), with a small break between rounds 2 and 3. If all goes to plan, people will be back on the road to Brisbane (and beyond) by 2pm. Cost will be $40 for Opens - with cash payouts and $25 for all other divisions, with a special price of just $10s for juniors. Tee sponsorships are available as well - contact Nate at [email protected] for more details - they will be $10 and each sponsorship will pay for a local junior to play in the event, hand picked by the PE teacher.

Included in the cost is a BBQ lunch provided by the school on Sunday, with all proceeds going to the school, prizes and trophies.
