First things first — congratulations to Queensland on a great Origin win. ❤️💛

Before any NSW supporters start blaming the referee, the bunker, the weather, the bounce of the ball, Mercury being in retrograde or some mysterious conspiracy, let’s be honest... Queensland were simply the better side on the night. 😜

The series is now tied 1-1, with Game 3 only a few weeks away. With everything on the line, it should be an absolute cracker.

It’s Monday morning at Mystic Sands and what a way to start the week.
After another fantastic weekend around the club, we’re kicking off the week by celebrating some of the incredible young staff.

And while they’re in today’s photo, the truth is we currently have three junior staff who are all next level local kids.
Their talent is obvious, but what impresses us even more is their attitude.
They turn up.
They support each other.
They respect customers.
And they represent everything that’s great about local kids.
Watching these young employees develop their skills and confidence is one of the most rewarding parts of building the future of Mystic Sands.
These kids aren’t just the future of our club.

🏆 Barefoot Bowls at MSSW 🏆

What a fantastic evening on the greens with the Toomulla Bowls Group joining us for a great game of barefoot bowls!

It was wonderful to see plenty of laughs, friendly competition, and community spirit on display throughout the evening. After the game, many stayed on to enjoy dinner and good company in the clubhouse.

A big thank you to everyone who came along and helped make it such an enjoyable night. We look forward to welcoming you back to Mystic Sands Sports & Wellness again soon!

This week has officially been the biggest week at Mystic Sands Sports & Wellness since we took over just five months ago.
And honestly... The place is going off. 🔥 The vibe is getting bigger and better every single day.
Families are embracing the changes.
Golfers are loving the course improvements.
The clubhouse is pumping.
The raffles are growing.
The social atmosphere is thriving.
Everywhere you look there are smiling faces, families enjoying themselves and people reconnecting with what community clubs are supposed to be all about.
It’s incredibly rewarding to see. What we’re witnessing now is exactly what we hoped Mystic could become:
A place where families come together.
A place where locals are proud to bring their friends.
A place where visitors feel welcome.
And a place where everyone feels part of something special.

🦐 The Lion Roared, The Goose Flew & Billy Cleaned Up the Evidence! 🦅🍻Morning Legends,
Well, it’s Saturday morning and if anyone was wondering what happened around the club overnight, the answer is simple...
Mystic Sands absolutely went OFF. 😂🍻🦐
Friday night exploded with a bang, the Lion roared louder than ever, and what a crowd! The biggest raffle we’ve seen in a very long time had tickets flying out the door, the Goose Club Jackpot went off, and the clubhouse was pumping from start to finish.
At one stage there were so many prawns being consumed we’re fairly certain North Queensland’s prawn population has lodged a formal complaint. 🦐🤣 A massive thank you to all our members, locals and visitors who came along and supported the club and the charities. Nights like last night are what community clubs are all about.
Well done everyone.
🦅 Campground Cleanup Crew Arrive Early
While most people were still recovering from Friday night’s celebrations, Billy and the Bin Chicken Brigade were hard at work this morning conducting their official campground inspection.
No hi-vis.
No paperwork.
No environmental management plan.
Just a highly motivated team of ibis conducting what can only be described as an aggressive waste management operation. 😂 Billy was seen supervising from a safe distance while his crew systematically cleaned up anything remotely edible. To be fair, they may not be pretty, but they do work cheap.

🌴☀️ Freaky Friday at Mystic Sands ☀️🌴
Morning Legends,
Well, today’s photo has solved a mystery that’s puzzled golfers for years...Who keeps eating the grass on the 9th fairway?
Turns out it’s not the mowers. It’s a bloody mob of kangaroos. 🦘😂
There they were this morning, lined up across the fairway like they’d just clocked on for the night shift.
No uniforms.
No toolbox meetings.
No safety boots.
Just a bunch of freeloaders chewing their way through the course and somehow still avoiding membership fees.
To be fair, they’re doing a pretty decent job.
Although we’d appreciate it if they left the fairways at about 21mm instead of their preferred setting of “billiard table.” 🤣
