Tomorrow is about something a little more important than handicaps, three-putts and who pinched whose ball. 💙 Sunday is our Men’s Blue Day — supporting prostate cancer awareness. 💙⛳ So tomorrow we want to see Mystic BLUE. Wear something blue, bring your mates and get behind a cause that matters to blokes, families and communities everywhere.
And fellas, there’s a serious message underneath the fun — look after yourselves, have the conversations and don’t put off getting checked when you should.
We’ll still have plenty of laughs, plenty of golf and the usual Mystic carry-on, but tomorrow gives us an opportunity to do it while shining a light on something genuinely worthwhile.

Friday feeling - Goose lions& bowls identity crises Morning Legends! Friday has landed at Mystic — and after last night’s smashing Barefoot Bowls success, we’ve discovered two things:
1. People bloody love Barefoot Bowls. 🎳🍻
2. Apparently Balgal Beach now has more bowls clubs than bowls greens. 😂

Barefoot Bowls last night was an absolute SMASHING SUCCESS! 🥳🎳🍻
So it’s official — from next Thursday, Barefoot Bowls becomes a regular fortnightly thing at Mystic. And just to save any confusion…One green. One clubhouse. Plenty of bowls - on the bowling green in Balgal Beach. 😂😂

Thursday nights (fortnightly) are now Barefoot Bowls, Friday nights belong to the Goose and Lions Club, the Fishing Club, the Golf Club and the Men’s Shed — and apparently somewhere in between we’ve accidentally created a whole new bowls naming industry. 😂🎳 But that leaves us with those OTHER THURSDAYS… 🤔So we’re thinking about giving TRIVIA NIGHT a crack! 🧠🍻Nothing too serious — teams, laughs, a few prizes and at least one person at every table confidently giving the completely wrong answer. 😂 HANDS UP — WHO’S IN FOR A MYSTIC TRIVIA NIGHT? 🙋‍♂

BUSHRANGERS SUNDAY — FATHER’S DAY EDITION ⛳🤠
Morning Legends!
Today we’re changing things up a little. Today we celebrate all the fathers of Balgal Beach, Rollingstone and our wider Mystic community — and we mean ALL of them. ❤️ So there’ll be no cheap shots, no Facebook warrior banter and no stirring the pot today. We can save all that rubbish for another day. 😂
Because today is about Dads.
And to every father, grandfather, stepfather, foster dad and bloke who has stepped up to be a father figure — stand tall, chest out, loud and proud. 👊 More than ever, our children need good, strong male role models.
Men who turn up.
Men who teach right from wrong.
Men who protect, encourage and listen.
Men who aren’t afraid to show love.
Men who set standards, take responsibility and, most importantly, lead by example.
Of course our kids need strong mums too — bloody oath they do. ❤️
But today isn’t about taking anything away from Mum. Today is about celebrating Dad. So to all our fathers — enjoy your day, be proud of the role you play and never underestimate just how important you are to the little people watching and learning from you.

The course is looking bloody magnificent, the drinks are cold, the kitchen is firing and the 19th hole is patiently waiting for all those stories about the putts that definitely should have dropped. 😂

“Sometimes the smallest bit of support can make the biggest difference.”
There are some amazing organisations and people in our community helping others turn their lives around. Alcohol can be enjoyed responsibly, but when it isn’t consumed in moderation, it can cause enormous harm — not just to an individual, but to relationships and entire families. So a little Saturday shout-out to those working in support, recovery and rehabilitation. The work you do can genuinely change lives and give families another chance. ❤️
