It was a fantastic Saturday of softball finals this weekend.

The rain clouds swirled and threatened to rain but thankfully held off for all 3 games.

We started the day at 9am with our sub juniors playing their preliminary final. They were amazing. Some great catches, slides, base stealing and most of all smiles and teamwork. They gave it their all in a close match sadly being defeated by the Cobras. What an outstanding season they have had.

Then the Rockies crowd filled the sidelines at 1.30pm for the Mens Semi final. Another close game with only a few runs separating the final score. Incredible fielding with a ball coming firing back at our Rockies pitcher whose reflexes snatched it up for an out. There were double plays, fly balls and plenty of sportsmanship on display..Well done Gents. What a game.

The perfect Saturday of softball finished with the final game of the day at 3pm. Our C grade women taking on the Vixens in the Grand Final. The crowds were on the edge of their seats in a super close game. Our ladies banded together, dug deep and brought home the gold! All with a smile on their faces and plenty of banter on the diamond with the competition. What a fantastic game to watch. Congratulations Ladies!

FINALS! FINALS! FINALS!
Its going to be a busy Saturday with 3 finals games on for our Rockies Winter Softball teams. If anyone has a teleportation machine please let me know cos its gonna be close travelling between the games on Saturday!
Kicking off the morning our Sub Junior Rockies Black team are in the Preliminary Finals on Diamond 1 at Langford Oval at 9am versing the Western Cobras.
Our Mens Div 8 team are in their Semi Final game against South Thornlie Red Sox on Diamond 7 at 1.30pm at Langford Oval.
Then our Womens C Grade are in the GRAND FINAL at 3pm over at Centenary Park, Wilson on Diamond 10.
So head on down and lets fill these sidelines with our loud and proud Rockies supporters! Bring the cheer, wear our club blues and lets show em what we got!
Good luck to all our teams playing this weekend. Soak up the atmosphere and enjoy the game. We are so proud of you all.

The teams are being built ready for the 2026/27 Season to kick off on October 10th and WE WANT YOU!
Get your child registered now. No experience necessary. Come and join in to have some fun, makes some new friends and learn some new skills.
Spots available for kids in Kindy to Year 6.
Games are played Saturday mornings from 8am at Springdale Oval in Karragullen.

PRELIMINARY FINALS WEEKEND!!!

Lets give a huge Rockies round of applause to our Womens Winter C Grade Softball team who are playing in the preliminary finals tomorrow at 3pm at Canning Softball Association.

Head on down to Centenary Park to cheer on our ladies as they battle it out against the Cougars for a spot in the Grand Final. Best of luck tomorrow ladies. You have all of Roleystone Diamond Sports behind you. Give it your best. We are so proud of you all! GO ROCKIES!!!!

SEMI FINALS SUB JUNIOR WINTER SOFTBALL ELIMINATION ROUND!!!

Our Sub Juniors are going head to head in the elimination semi finals rounds this Saturday, August 29th at 11am on Diamond 2 at Dale Districts Junior Softball Association.

We want to wish every player all the best for this weekend. Work together as a team, try your best and most of all have fun!
