Jack ,Dad and I having a fish

Hello there ,my son Jack and I headed up to Rocklands Reservoir on Thursday afternoon for the weekend with the Bannockburn angling club and we stayed at the Rocklands Lodge
We headed out on Friday morning and the weather was perfect for fishing. We pulled up to the first spot to try and catch a fish and with in 5 minutes Jack had the first Redfin in the boat ,and it was bloody small ,I had Yabbies and Jack had minnow and worms on his two rods , not a touch on worms ,so we change the bait to minnows which we started to catch more fish. So we keep moving tree to tree to find the bigger reddies ,but no luck . We headed back in to have lunch.
After having something to eat Jack and I head back out for a couple of hours to see if we could catch something bigger ,but it was just little reddies. So we pulled the pin and head back in for the day.
We got back to camp and some of the other blokes caught some nice reddies and a couple of Yellow belly's.
We got up on Saturday morning and weather was raining and very windy ,so we didn't go out for a fish.
So we headed into watch the local football for the day .
Sunday morning we packed up and come home.
