What a great weekend at Renmark for round 3 of state titles for the kids with Motocross.
Round 1 for Bree came to an end quickly with troubles with her clutch but thankfully she was able to use her brothers bike for rounds 2 and 3 having a great day and not coming off the bike this time.
Round 1 for Brax was a bit of trouble, he came off and almost got run over, only a minor injury thankfully. Round 2 was harder on his body and it was evident that he was very tired and still very sore from his broken collarbone. True to himself he gave it his all but unfortunately didn't go out for Round 3 due to being in too much pain. He opted to sit the last race out to prevent any further damage to his recovering body.
So proud of both kids for giving it their all as always.

Where do I start, another day racing at the Morgan Motorcycle Club. Breeannah Morcom getting 2 whole shots out of 3, leading in first place for a stretch then 1 whole lap in second place against the boys. Your determination to race the boys today and do well really paid off. You did an amazing job and never gave up. You got 1st place over all for the girls junior lites. If you were scored against the boys you would have got 2nd or 3rd overall, what a top effort. The way you rode your bike today was like a natural with such determination.

Braxton Morcom what can I say here. The way you rode today blew my mind away. All 3 whole shots in each race. I could tell you were stocked about this. You rode so hard today and it paid off, you gave it everything you had. You were leading the pack in first place in the first race till the last part of the second lap when you took a big crash knocking yourself out, a few grazes and hurting your leg and knee fairly badly. After having an unexpected snooze on the track you managed to get back up and finish the race, unfortunately coming in at last place in the first race. After a rest between races and getting checked out by the medics at the last minute you put on you race gear and went back out and gave it your all finishing your second race in first place. I could see you were hurt but this didn't stop you and I hoped you stayed on the bike this time. Third race out you went hard again leading in first place till the last lap finishing in second place. Taking out second overall for the whole day. I don't know how you do it kid but you get hurt and keep going like nothing is wrong.

Super proud of both of you today, I don't think I have seen you two ride this well yet and I'm so glad I was there to see it. As scary as it is to watch I can see your both passionate about motocross and have come so far in the past 6 months.

On Sunday the 15th of October. Bree and brax went to their home track SCMX CLUB for the Australian sidecar association Williams cup. They both raced extremely well both trying their hardest.

In 1st lap of race 1 Brax took a pretty big stack and ended up not finishing that race. But as always he brushed the dirt off, got his bike fixed and was ready for the next rounds.

Bree did really well and didnt fall off at all over the day. She did have a set back in race 1 though as she stopped to help her brother in his crash. Luckily Brax was ok and she finished that race.

They both did an amazing job for the rest of the day working hard and showing just how much they have improved this year. Brax came 4th for the day just missing podium and Bree came 6th for the day.

These are just some of the photos from the day.

Another great day racing for the morcs racing duo. First time for them ever riding at Morgan motorcycle club. Very different conditions to what they are used to or have ridden before.

First race for Brax he got the hole shot and took 3 stacks. The first stack was a bad one and he hurt his knee but in true Braxton style he got back up each time and continued to race even with very crooked steering. Thanks to Dale Chadbourne and Simon John for helping to fix his steering. Brax got 3rd overall for the day and is very proud of how well he rode in the difficult conditions.

Bree came first in all 3 races for her division and took a stack in her first race right in front of her brother causing him to stack it too. But again in true Bree style she got back up brushed the dirt off and kept going. Bree got 1st overall for her division she was very suprised and proud at the same time.

So very proud of how well both of the kids rode today especially a hard , slippery track on a very hot day.

Thanks again to their sponsors Morcs Machinery Bridge Takeaway Sticky Mojo Genuine Support Services Australia for helping our kids live their dreams.

On the 17th of September Brax took a trip down to Tea Tree Gully motocross club to race the SAVMX Titles. He had an absolutely amazing run coming 2nd, 2nd, 1st coming 2nd overall for the day. He got the holeshot every single race. Lots of firsts for him. This was an amazing opportunity for him as he made it up onto the podium for the first time ever. On Sunday we could see just how much he wanted that win. He had so much drive to stay in front of the pack and ride hard but sensible. We are so incredibly proud of him.

Thank you to the sponsors who made this day possible for Brax.

On the 9th of September Bree took a trip down to Gillman to race the final round of state titles. She had an amazing day running 7th, 8th, 8th for 8th for the day. She also got a suprise by finding out she has finished top 5 in the state for the 85cc girls 12-16 years group. She is beyond happy as this is a huge achievement for someone who has only been racing for 2 years.

Thank you to all our sponsors who have helped out this season and made everything possible for the morcs racing team.
