Some news that many of you will already be aware of - in a few weeks time, we will be shutting our doors for the last time.

It's been our absolute pleasure to be a part of the strength sports community since 2017, and we're incredibly thankful for the amount of opportunities we've had to meet so many great people across Australia and the world.

Our flagship events such as Brisbane's Strongest have been handed over to some wonderful stewards, and we'll have some information out about this soon. We're still on track to host the 2026 ASA Invitational as well as Nationals later on in the year, so you're not getting rid of us just yet!

We will have some of our more generic (plates, bars, etc) equipment available for purchase in a few weeks time. If you want to get your hands on some commercial strength equipment that's been looked after, get in contact with us and we can send you a price for specific items.

Regardless of when we've closed for good, we'll be having a final deadlift + pizza party next Friday (26/6) @ 6pm, followed by one more Strongman Saturday the next morning from 9am. Following this, we'll have dinner and drinks at White Lies Brewing II from 5pm on Saturday evening, and hope to see as many of our friends there as possible.

We'll have events for this out soon, as well as links to our final merch run.

A big thankyou to everybody who has supported us over the years, and we all hope to see you in the gym at least one more time.

Adaptive/All Abilities Athletes - we've got you covered!

Heard from a few people who were looking to get into the sport, but were unsure how to get started. We run our AA/adaptive classes to be as accommodating as possible and are happy to modify events/weights as needed to make sure you have as much fun as you can while having a challenge in front of you.

You're also more than welcome to pop into the gym on the open Saturday mornings and we can run through events with you to make sure you're confident with everything!

We're more than happy to scale any events to your abilities, and if they can't be scaled to suit we've got some alternate events lined up:

Reverse Harness Car Pull: arm over arm drag (seated), sled pull (AA)
Sandbag Press: deadball press (seated/AA)
Wrist Roller: ground-based roller drag (seated)
Sandbag Throw: sandbag/deadball horizontal throw (seated/AA)
Pipe Scramble: axle deadlift hold (seated/AA)

Strongman truly is for everybody!

It's been a hot minute, but we've finally got the photos back from the 2026 Brisbane's Strongest Man and Woman, and our photographer for the day Chris Davison really knocked these out of the park!

An email has just gone out to competitors with access links to the photos, as well as how you can get even higher res versions for printing.

A big thankyou to Chris for his work on the day, and a big congratulations to all competitors again on some great performances across the board

A new event we're working on which we've temporarily named the Pipe Scramble (until we come up with something better).

Like a reverse fingals finger, this is absolutely brutal on the hamstrings and lower back - there's a reason it's going to be our last event!

We'll be increasing the starting weight, and competitors will race from the end to a designated stop point.

We're always looking for ways to celebrate the achievements of our novice and AA athletes without shifting the focus to points and places as we believe these divisions should be a lower stress, less complicated way of getting into the sport and having a good time while doing your best.

For last weekends Brisbane's Strongest Man and Woman, we've got achievement certificates for all of our novice and AA competitors finally back from the printers, and we'll start getting these out to everybody next week.

Congratulations to all competitors!

Proud to announce that our throwback event to kick off the 2026 SEQSS is the infamous wrist roller!

We've got Dreadnought Strength Equipment whipping up a giant wrist roller platform, and competitors will be rolling their way through a 2m lift. We've done an event test to check the weights and oh boy - this one is gonna bring a forearm pump!

We're all about this wrist roll event during the 1977 Competition.Click here to SUBSCRIBE: http://bit.ly/1a7GqHcCreated in 1977, The World's Strongest M...

We're absolutely devastated to hear of the passing of Huddo, who was due to compete with us at Brisbane's Strongest on Sunday.

I had the pleasure of having him compete with us for a few years, and more than anybody else I've ever met he demonstrated all of the qualities that make a great strongman.

Not only did he give every single event a red hot go to the best of his ability without a single complaint, but he showed an incredible level of support for all other athletes at every competition to make sure everybody had as good of a time as he did.

Our hearts go out to Lisa and his family, and we know he'll be deeply missed by everybody who ever was lucky enough to meet him.

As we've done since we started running competitions in 2014, our goal is to make the sport of strongman accessible to as many people as possible without taking away what makes strongman the sport we know and love.

The 2026 Brisbane's Strongest Man and Woman will run All Abilities divisions alongside our novice division. Entries into these divisions do not require an ASA membership, and are meant as a pathway into competing in strongman without the pressure of weight classes or worrying about points or placings. For All Abilities, we are happy to work with coaches and athletes to modify the events as necessary to ensure everybody can give an event their all while keeping everybody safe.

We're also running the always entertaining Adaptive Division, and have events suitable for both seated and standing athletes (no further breakdowns for classes yet). At the moment we have a bench available for seated athletes, but are again exploring some possibilities for an incredibly overbuilt wheelchair so competitors can do moving events safely - as you can imagine, most standard chairs cop a flogging when doing events and the last thing we want is for somebody's way of getting around breaking during the competition.

Adaptive divisions are a much more established element of the sport, and with national/international pathways available for competitors we do require these athletes to have an ASA membership.

If you would like to compete in either of these divisions, please get in contact as we have a separate entry system to help us coordinate the needs of differently abled competitors (ie. equipment modifications for adaptive competitors).

Today we had the 25th round of the South East QLD Strength series, with 5 historic events that we knew were going to be tough for competitors.

Despite on and off torrential rain, everybody did a fantastic job and put on a great show!

A huge thank you to for coming down last minute to apply everybody's war paint - made the day just that little bit extra fun.

We're now officially in organisation mode for the 2026 Brisbane's Strongest Man and Woman, coming up at .hq in March - check our events for more information!

Congratulations to member for ticking another achievement for the year off - after a quick little peak, he hit this tasty 280kg deadlift yesterday.

He's had a great year of competing, and I know everybody has appreciated having him around for the banter (aside from being one of the most supportive members of every single other person in here).

I reckon he was happy about that one!
