Not the best photo as we don't want to reveal this lovey ladies wedding dress 🫣
But check out these amazing results ! 5 months apart.
2 x classes a week , sometimes 3 sometimes only one ..
But consistently every week.
Absolutely 0 alterations to the dress, just strength training classes and this dress fits beautifully. And check out that definition coming through in her back ! 💪
I had her tell me a few times the scale has gone up, which got her feeling deflated, and losing motivation but scales only weigh WEIGHT not FAT
Your weight is made up of muscles, bones, water, blood, organs, and fat.
Scales are not accurate. Photos are your best bet .
So proud of you 👏

Let's talk about scales ⚖️
How many times have you stepped on the scales and been disappointed with the result ?
There are so many factors that influence the number you see on the scale .
1.Time of day you weigh yourself
2.Whether you've been to the toilet
3.If you've had a high sodium or carbohydrates day / meal recently (for every gram of carb you eat, you retain 4g water )
4.As previous factor, if you are holding water retention
5.Females - that time of month
6.Lack of sleep
7.Stress
The list goes on.
Let's not forget the scales show WEIGHT not FAT!
Your WEIGHT is made up of an average of roughly 60% water. With the two other major components, Fatt mass and Muscles mass, along with your bones, organs and blood!
Scales are our own worst enemy when it comes to losing 'weight' slide for a prime example .

Sitting down at a desk most of the day ? 👏Have a read 👏
I had a discussion with a couple of my lovely class participants today and they admitted after a class they can feel their joints become less stiff and not as tight.

Sitting for long periods of time makes your legs and glutes weak. The glutes, leg muscles (hamstrings, inner thighs and quads) get affected when you are sitting for long.
Sitting for too long can cause pain in the hip. Lunges, fire hydrants, and squats are great and help to prevent hip pain.
Sitting can also lower your core strength and posture.
Most people tend to lean forward while working on the computer or cradle their phone to the ear. This can cause strain to your neck (cervical vertebrae if we want to get technical) resulting in permanent imbalances, which will lead you to experience neck strain, sore shoulders and back pain.
Sitting can cause stiffness in the neck and shoulders. Exercises like rows, dumbbell shrugs, push-ups, and high planks strengthen and prevent muscle strain and soreness.
