All the action starts a bit earlier on Sat and Sun due to the number of entries. Refer to the schedule in the event info below and make sure you drop by the pit and say hello beforehand. We have 4 rounds of racing Nitro Mayhem over two days , the aim is to better Michael's PB of 5.61s@261mph set last meeting.

The biggest Nitro show ever at the Motorplex. 7 late model Top Fuel, 11 Top Bikes and 5 Nostalgia Fuel cars. Be there by 4.30pm and come down and see us in the pits. Both Saturday and Sunday will be great. Can we go better than 5.61@261?. Thats the plan, the track will be great with all the heavy hitters rubbing it up and the weather in low 30's means fast times by everyone.

Phil has caught some great pics of the Nitro Mayhem before, but this is exceptional.

Sunday mornings after any drag race meeting means only one thing, sorting, editing and finally posting, but before looking at any other shots from last night, this had to be first.
Michael "Brooksy" Brooks on his way here to being Australia's fastest and quickest front engine dragster, carding a 5.612 at 261.89mph (421.48kph)
As a photographer blessed with the best access possible, these sort of shots are as special to me as the run and the record is for the Nitro Mayhem team.

Well, what looked promising turned to sh*te , drove through the clutch, zinged it and threw the belt , chewed up some cables . We are out for the night, need to go through the bottom end and rods to be safe.
