We are incredibly proud of our two Girls Rugby League teams who competed in the Grand Finals yesterday at Aurizon Stadium!

Congratulations to our Open Girls, who secured a well-deserved win in a nail-biting showdown against St Ursula’s. Our girls showed outstanding determination, teamwork, and composure under pressure to come away with the victory.

While our Year 7/8 Girls were defeated by TCC, the result doesn’t reflect the outstanding perseverance and resilience they demonstrated throughout the game. They represented themselves and the school with great pride and should be very proud of their efforts.

Congratulations to all players on your achievements this term, and a huge thank you to the coaches and staff whose dedication made this such a successful season. 🔥🔥

Congratulations to Giulio, Nash and Oliver who recently competed in the QRSS Touch State Championships in Townsville. The boys enjoyed an outstanding tournament, with the Capricornia team producing a clean sweep before taking out 1st place in the finals!

Capping off an already momentous weekend, Giulio and Oliver were also selected in the Queensland Representative School Sport Touch Football Team and will compete in the National Youth Championships later in the year.

Congratulations once again boys on an incredible tournament and we wish Giulio and Oliver all the best as they prepare for the NYC 🔥❤💙

Our huge week of sport continues, with our netball girls set to battle it out in the Grand Finals this Thursday!

After a strong season across all teams, we’re proud to have four sides earning their place in the Grand Final.

We’d love to see plenty of support on the sidelines, so head down to Jardine Park from 4:00pm tomorrow to cheer them on!

Continuing with the week of Grand Finals, four of our Basketball teams earned the opportunity to compete for a championship.

Our Year 7/8A, Year 7/8B, 9/10A and Open A teams battled hard throughout their Grand Finals, with our Year 9/10A team producing a brilliant performance to claim a well-deserved Grand Final victory!

Unfortunately our 7/8A, 7/8B and Open A teams all fell agonisingly short in closely contested matches. While the results didn't go their way, each team demonstrated outstanding determination, sportsmanship and resilience, and should be incredibly proud of their efforts throughout the season.

Congratulations to all players, coaches and staff involved. Reaching a Grand Final is a significant achievement. Well done to everyone on a fantastic season! 💙❤🔥

It was a huge week in the world of Emmaus Sport, with our 9/10A Boys Soccer team taking to the field for their Grand Final showdown against Lighthouse.

The boys delivered an outstanding performance and secured an emphatic victory to cap off a fantastic season. Their teamwork, determination, and commitment were on full display as they rose to the occasion when it mattered most.

Congratulations to Mackenzee on making her Capricorn Claws debut this weekend.

A proud moment for Macka, her family and the Emmaus community. She took the opportunity with both hands and produced a strong first performance in Claws colours.

Our finals continue this week as our 9/10 Boys take on Lighthouse in their Soccer Grand Final tomorrow, while our 7/8 Girls and Open Girls teams battle it out in their Semi Finals against NRSHS.

Head on down to the Brosnan Ovals tomorrow afternoon to cheer our teams on! ❤💙

Emmaus College rowing crews delivered an impressive performance at the recent Rockhampton City regatta.

Competing against strong opposition from schools and clubs across the region, Emmaus demonstrated excellent racing skills across a variety of boat classes. Students rose to the challenge of the competitive racing environment, producing a number of strong finishes and valuable personal best performances.

The day provided opportunities for both experienced and developing rowers to test their skills under race conditions.

Congratulations to all Emmaus rowers who represented the College with pride. We look forward to following their continued success throughout the remainder of the rowing season as we prepare for the upcoming CQ Titles in Bundaberg.
