All fixture games are played at Kalka Shades (Birdwood Park) off Water Street in North Rockhampton. Find us on Twitter:

Games are played on both grass fields and the synthetic turf field. Junior games are played on Saturday mornings and Senior games are played Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights and Saturday afternoons.

A huge congratulations to our J1 & J2 Champions — an incredible way to finish the year! 🏆

And to every single junior who pulled on a jersey this season — congratulations. From our littlest players finding their feet, to our older juniors stepping up and leading the way, it’s been another brilliant year of junior hockey in Rockhampton.

Thank you to the coaches, managers, umpires, volunteers, families and supporters who make it all possible. Most of all, thank you to our juniors for bringing the energy, friendships and fun every single week.❤️🏑

THIS IS IT. GRAND FINAL DAY. 🏆

An entire season of training, late nights, tough games, big wins and hard-fought battles has led to one final Saturday on the turf.

This weekend, our 2026 finalists take to the field with everything on the line. For some, it’s the opportunity to defend a title. For others, the chance to finally claim the title they’ve been chasing.. But for every team stepping onto the turf, there’s just one game left to win.

The Grand Final times are officially locked in, and we’re set for an incredible day of hockey from our juniors right through to our senior grades.

Bring the noise. Wear your club colours. Fill the sidelines and get behind your teams.

We’re asking all players, families and supporters to get behind our junior teams for one final big push! 🙌

And don’t forget — please stick around after the J3, 4 & 5 games for our End of Season Presentations as we celebrate our junior players, coaches, managers and volunteers and recognise all they’ve achieved throughout the 2026 season. 🏅👏

WE NEED YOU! 🛠️🖤
Our upcoming working bees are all about getting our hockey facilities looking their best for finals — and we need our hockey community to get behind them!
Whether you can spare an hour, a morning or the whole day, every set of hands makes a difference. There’s plenty to do, and many jobs that don’t require any special skills — just a willingness to pitch in.
And if you own a gurney… please bring it along. This will greatly assist!
These facilities belong to all of us, and keeping them in great shape is something we can achieve together. Bring the family, bring a mate, and come help us get stuck in! 💪🏑

Finals Victory 🏑🩵❤️

Wanderers Hockey Club have claimed victory in the first of our finals series! 🔥

After finishing second on the ladder, Wanderers A1 Women produced a strong finals performance to take down Southern Suburbs 2–0 and claim victory in the CQ League grand final. 💪

After leading the competition all season, the Wanderers A1 Men showed exactly why they’ve been the team to beat, securing a 3–1 victory over Southern Suburbs in a fantastic performance. 👏

And a huge congratulations to Southern Suburbs’ Jemma Punch and Doug Buckley, both awarded Player of the Series! 🏆💛🖤

Jemma and Doug have been consistently exceptional throughout the series, delivering outstanding performances week after week. These accolades are incredibly well deserved, and we couldn’t be prouder of them both.

A huge thank you to Gladstone Hockey Association for being such an important part of our CQ League competition and for helping strengthen and grow the standard of hockey across our region. Bring on next week, as we move into our local league finals campaign! 🔥🏑
