Captal De Buch Medieval Re-Enactment Group Queensland Living History 14th Century Re-Enactment Group Above all, being a member of Captal De Buch is about enjoying yourself!

The Captal De Buch strive to portray the Mercenary lifestyle of the people in the process of fighting under the banner of the English and Edward III. Members actively research and portray the time period of life living in France and engaging in a mercenary lifestyle from 1360 through to 1389, that covers the period of the first peace in the Hundred Year War and through to and include the period of the second outbreak of the war. Group members engage in living history displays, depictions and battle re-enactments of the 14th century utilising arms, armour, textiles and furnishings, all carefully crafted as historically accurate as possible within the constraints of modern society. The Captal de Buch encourages within its membership, and the wider community the concept of chivalry and the values of honour and loyalty whilst endeavouring to raise each persons self esteem, confidence and acceptance in a welcoming, inclusive and like minded community. We are also members of Queensland Living Histroy and adhere strictly to their rules.

Over the couse of last weekend a few of our members travelled down to Aldershot for the inaugural Fellowship of Bow and Blade event hosted by our lovely friends of The Company of the Badger and Riverbend Medieval who did an amazing job. The weekend was filled with archery, workshops and entertainment, all of our members who attended had a fantastic time and look forward to the next.

It was wonderful to catch up with familiar faces and meet new one's. And once again a huge thank you to all those involved in the event.
