Firstly, a massive thank you to all the partners, family, and friends who came to support the team. Your encouragement, help, and energy throughout the weekend never go unnoticed.

Thank you to everyone back home who put in the rounds, the time, and the effort to help everyone prepare. Every training session played a part in what happened this weekend.

A huge thank you to QBJJC - Queensland’s premier Jiu Jitsu Circuit for putting on another epic State Championships. 🤍

Last but definitely not least, Super Cooper, who coached the team all weekend and helped guide everyone to success. 🥇

Proud is an understatement.

Every single person who stepped on the mats showed courage, represented Unison with respect, and walked away with more experience a few more knocks & bruises but most of all some great memories & stories.

The medals are always a bonus, but they’re never the most important part.

What matters most is having the courage to put yourself out there, test yourself, and see what you’re capable of. Competition isn’t easy. Stepping onto the mats takes courage, and anyone who has done it understands and respects that.

Grateful to have such an amazing group of people. To train alongside, build friendships and watch people continually challenge themselves is what makes Jiu-Jitsu so special.

When you step onto those mats, be present and be grateful. Trust the work you’ve put in, back yourself and enjoy the opportunity to do something that challenges you.

Good luck to everyone competing. Go out there, test yourself and enjoy every moment. 🤍🥋
