The Frenchville Roos Senior Football Club was formed in 1948 and was the Frenchville Sports Club’s foundation sport.

The Frenchville Roos are based at Central Queensland’s premier football venue, Ryan Park. Every year the club plays for the Wesley Hall Cup which is made of sterling silver and values at $120,000, making it the richest amateur sporting trophy in the world.

The Frenchville Roos Junior Football Club was formed in 1956 and since then has continued to foster juniors and invest in their development.

In 1999 a junior Frenchville Roos team went to Japan for 14 days. In 2017 to honour the retiring Sports Manager, Terr Kennedy, a trophy was named for the Club’s annual U/10 carnival.

The club caters for players from squirts (3yo-5yo) up to over 35s.
