As another racing season comes to a close, we'd like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who has helped make it such a success.
To our volunteers, officials, drivers, crews, families, supporters and sponsors—thank you for your time, dedication and commitment. Every race meeting relies on countless hours of work behind the scenes, and we truly appreciate everyone who contributes to making our club what it is.
A very special congratulations goes to Karina Clarkson, who was nominated as Club Person of the Year. This recognition is a fitting tribute to her many years of outstanding dedication, hard work and unwavering support of our club. Karina's contribution has made a lasting impact, and we are incredibly grateful for everything she continues to do.
We'd also like to acknowledge the incredible efforts of Phil Roberts, Vicki Wilson, Garry Wathen, Renae Tainton, Katelyn Clark, Geoff Phillips, David Clark and Kevin Britten, whose ongoing commitment and willingness to lend a hand help keep our club running smoothly throughout the season.
To the many other volunteers whose names may not be listed here but who give their time week after week—please know that your efforts do not go unnoticed. It takes a whole team to put on successful race meetings, and every contribution is valued.
Finally, thank you to our sponsors for your continued support. Your backing helps keep our club strong and allows us to continue providing great racing for our competitors and fans.

🏁 KING OF THE RING GOES TO KEVIN BRITTEN 🏁

A huge night of racing saw Kevin Britten claim the King of the Ring title.

Heat race wins across the night were shared between Paul Morris, Seiton Young and Kevin Britten, setting the stage for a stacked feature event.

Britten showed serious pace all night and delivered when it mattered most.

Michael Ardley charged home to finish 2nd in the V59 machine, while Morris put in a determined drive to round out the podium in 3rd after rolling his car earlier in the night and bouncing back in impressive fashion.

Unfortunately Seiton Young and Scott Quirk were both forced to retire early from the night following an incident in Heat 3, while Kyle Armstrong was unable to finish the feature race.

The QSS van will be heading to Hi-Tec Oils Toowoomba Speedway for this weekends Late Model and V8 Dirt Modified National titles.

Rocky Nats did not disappoint!

🔥 ROCKY NATS BROUGHT THE HEAT 🔥
Round 5 of the Ultimate 5 Star Series at McCosker Rockhampton Speedway did NOT disappoint! 🏁

From the drop of the green, it was game on with David Clark showing serious pace all night, looking like a real threat every time he hit the track. But when it counted most, Kevin Britten got the job done, charging to the top step in a stacked field.

Plenty of drama throughout the feature, with hard luck striking a number of contenders. Tough night for Andrew Pezzutti, Zac McDonald, Phil Roberts, Marcus Reddecliffe and Adam Thomsen, all forced to retire before the finish.

That’s speedway - brutal, unpredictable, and absolutely electric ⚡️
