Basketball Queensland Coach Development Manager George Robinson is in town this Sunday to run a session for all Rockhampton representative coaches.

🚫 No pool noodles, pots and pans, or similar noise makers will be allowed inside the stadium.

Artificial noise makers can distract players and make it hard for officials and coaches to be heard.

Rockhampton Basketball has locked in its NBL1 North coaching group through to the end of 2028.

Hayden Morris joins us as Head Coach of the Fitzroy Towing and Transport Rockhampton Rockets. Morris arrives from Melbourne where he is a Development Coach with the South East Melbourne Phoenix and an Assistant Coach with Knox Basketball, along with support staff roles across Australian Boomers campaigns.

Drew Fenton re-signs as Head Coach of the CQUniversity Rockhampton Cyclones. Since 2022, he has delivered a championship in 2024, NBL1 North Coach of the Year in 2023 and a finalist nod in 2024.

Two-year deals for both programs. That means continuity, stronger recruitment and more time to build a lasting program.
