🐟 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗙𝗶𝘁𝘇𝗿𝗼𝘆 𝗯𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗮!

This morning, members of the Frenchville Sports Club Ltd Board joined students from Rockhampton State High School to release barramundi raised through the school’s Aquaculture Centre into the Fitzroy River.

The program gives students valuable hands-on aquaculture experience while helping strengthen local fish stocks and support the future of recreational fishing in our region.

Who knows, some of these barra may even feature in a future Fitzroy River Barra Bash! 🎣

Congratulations to the students, teachers and everyone involved in this fantastic initiative.
