It was a busy day for the VPBC today with President Steve C taking the team of Zuriel H, Frank J and JD with him to Wowan for the Wowan President Day. A great day of bowls was in order with “The Park” boys picking up the sportsman’s prize for the day. Thank you Wowan Bowls Club for hosting a great day. The team of Peter D, Kyle D, Peter H and Robbie M headed to Yaralla Bowls Club today to play in President Bobs Bash. What a great day with Yaralla green filled with teams from all over the district The team played well and came away with two wins resulting in being runner up for the day. A big thank you to Tim and the Yaralla folks for a great day and great company look forward to the next catchup

A great night of fun bowls, good competition and better company finishing with a beautiful meal of curry chicken, lamb casserole and rice. 24 bowlers enjoyed our Friday night competition with the jackpot being $120. A big thank you to Jeanette S for dinner it was scrumptious and went down a treat.
Make sure you’ve got your names in for next Friday as positions are already filling fast. So grab your mates and come on down. If you can’t get a partner we will do our best to assist. See you next Friday at “The Park” under lights starting at 6pm

A great state of origin Wednesday at “The Park” today with 40 bowlers flying their favourite colours in an afternoon of bowls. There was plenty of close games across the green with lots of friendly banter and laughter by all. Thank you to our bowlers for the spirit of the day it was amazing.
