WEEK 10 FIXTURES!!!

Our B Men Fire enjoy a well-earned bye this weekend, but there’s still plenty of action to look forward to with some exciting Frenchville vs Frenchville matchups.

Our Under 14 Flash will take on Inferno, while our C Ladies Foxes go head-to-head with the Flamingos.

We have canteen duty from 1:45pm–4:45pm. If you can lend a hand, we’d really appreciate it.

CONGRATULATIONS PAIGE POUSTIE!!!

We are so excited to announce our very own Paige Poustie has been selected in the Australian U14 Women’s Team.

Paige will head to Sydney from 11–16 July to compete at the Blacktown International Sports Park International Cup, stepping up into an U16 competition. The team will also play a mini-series against USA and New Zealand.

Frenchville is so proud of you Paige. We’re all cheering you on and can’t wait to hear all about the experience when you get back.

EXTENDED JUNIOR TRAINING

Get ready juniors. This week we’re having an extended training session. It will run from 5:00pm-6:30pm.

We encourage all players to come in their State of Origin gear and bring the rivalry to the grounds.

Please note that there will be no seniors training due to the State of Origin so enjoy the night off to cheer on QLD or NSW.

GET TO KNOW… FRENCHVILLE SECRETARY…SHARNEE PAKLEPPA

We’re sure you’ve all met Sharnee…you’ll find her at the grounds from sun up to sun down and into the night each weekend as one of the hardest working members of our club.

As our Club Secretary (a role that involves countless behind-the-scenes jobs), Sharnee keeps things running smoothly. She also scores games, helps in the canteen, regularly supports our monthly raffles, and takes the field with our C Ladies Foxes and B Ladies Minx teams.

But that’s not all. Sharnee is also the Competition Convenor for Rocky Softball and even takes on the very important role of keeping the toilets clean at the grounds.

The club would be lost without Sharnee and we are incredibly grateful for everything she does for our club each and every year. Make sure you give her a huge thanks next time you see her.

GET TO KNOW… CARTER SCHNEIDER

Meet Carter…one of our experienced juniors who takes the field with our Under 16 Flyers, as well as our B and C Men’s teams.

Over the past few years, Carter has proudly represented Rockhampton in the Under 14 side, and earlier this year travelled away with the Rockhampton Under 16 team.

You’ll often find Carter at training and around the grounds, supporting his teammates, sharing his knowledge, and helping out our younger players.

Carter is a valued member of the Frenchville family, and we love having him as part of our club.
