A message from the 2026 President ๐
What a season for the Glenmore Bulls.
Before we officially turn the page on the year, I want to say a proper thank you to everyone who keeps this club running. To our Executive, Committee, Coaches, and Team Managersโthe amount of work you put in behind the scenes, at training, and every Saturday doesn't go unnoticed.
We simply don't function without you.
A massive milestone for us this year was finally getting our new facility open. A huge shoutout to Scott, Darcy, and the whole team who put in the hard yards to get the build finalized and over the line. Itโs a game-changer for our home ground.
Weโve also had some unbelievable individual and team success across the league to celebrate:
Joel Kilpatrick โ AFL Capricornia Coach of the Year: A massive congrats to Joel. Awarded to the best in the league, and thoroughly deserved for the vision and effort heโs put into our footy program.
Tyson Payne โ Bernie Gotke Medal: Huge congratulations to Tyson for taking out the AFL Capricornia Best and Fairest. Unbelievable year of footy and a fantastic recognition.
Youth Grand Finals & Premiership Success:
Outstanding effort from our youth teams making the big stage. A huge congrats to our U15 Boys and U16 Girls on making their Grand Finals, and a massive cheer for our U16 Girls bringing home the Premiership flag!
Special mention to Issy Moore, who capped off a stellar year by winning the U16 Girls League Best & Fairest and taking out Best on Ground in the Grand Final. Absolute superstar performance.
While footy for 2026 is done, planning for next year starts now. Weโll be running Club Planning Days in October to map out where we take the Bulls in 2027 and beyond. Keep an eye on the page for datesโwe want as many voices, ideas, and hands on deck as possible to help shape where we're heading. Our AGM will be in late November.
Thanks again to all our players, families, volunteers, and supporters for a fantastic year. Enjoy the break, and let's get ready to build on this for 2027.
