Hi everyone,

Firstly, congratulations to all the boys on finishing 2nd. Obviously, the season isn't finished yet but considering where they finished last year and how much they have improved this year it's a very impressive result.

I mentioned to the boys that training would only go for an hr on Thursday. After talking with Roy last night I'm not sure that an hr is going to be long enough for us to achieve what we want out of the session. We will aim for 1 hr but if we run a little bit longer please cut us some slack.

During the finals, our team goal is to do our absolute best together. While equal playing time matters during the regular season, it will be less of a focus now. I promise that everyone will get time on the field, and I hope we can all support this team-first approach.

Our team battles harder than any other team in the competition! We have the ability to win this comp through hard work, solid defence and simple game play. I can't wait for our boys to stick it to this unbeaten Cap Coast team! If we win we'll be singing the Southside war cry after the game and I invite everyone to come and sing it with us!

Finally, it would be amazing for our boys to see who's there supporting them. If you have a red shirt, please throw it on!

Hey everyone, David Volling (Mavs dad) is seeing if we can get a Div 1 team together for Futsal season. It runs through term 4 at North Rockhampton high. Ideally 7 or 8 players for a team. Please post if you’re interested or alternatively, message David directly.

Following one of our best performances yet, I want each of you to take a moment to feel proud of the incredible effort and hard work you've put in! That victory is a testament to your dedication and teamwork!

Round 18 Saturday, August 8th, at 9:30 AM on Field 7. Please arrive 30 minutes early for warm-up so we can prepare to bring our best once again.

We have training this Thursday from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM with Coach Roy! I’ll be out of town but will do my best to make it back in time.
