Canterbury Baseball Club CBC Founded in 1927. Stick out your mortz! We are The Blue Machine. We are a small but tight knit and competitive club.

Down at McLaughlin field
Though most times we manage a win
We've been beaten but we never yield

When you play with The Blue Machine! A park baseball club operating out of McLaughlin Oval in Riverwood in both summer and winter competitions based around the St George/Cronulla area. We are always looking to grow our numbers and experience isn't necessary so if you're looking for a game feel free to contact us.

How good is winning!
After last weeks rain delay, Canterbury got back on the diamond today sealed the deal with a 5-2 win. A huge 2 out bases clearing double was enough to get Canterbury over the line as Fuge and Oldfield were almost untouchable on the mound.

Happy 80th Birthday to Life Member and former club President Russell "Scrubber" Knight.

Russell's contributions to the club during his years of service are invaluable.

Here's a photo of him catching up with Trevor "Champ" O'Toole, Tony "Teller" Dennis, Doug "Wheelan" Townsend and David "Donkey" Whyte. All of whom were proud members of The Blue Machine.

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Canterbury Baseball Club Life Member, Laurie "Balls" Turner.

Laurie’s passion, generosity and love for the game helped shape our club and the many players who came through it.

We extend our heartfelt sympathies to Laurie’s family and loved ones.

Thank you for everything Laurie.
