⭐️⭐️⭐️”Meet the Coach”⭐️⭐️⭐️

“Hi I’m Tonya🙋‍♀️, the owner of C.D.P Personal Training”.

▫️I’m 41 years old, originally from Geraldton and a single parent of 2 children. So I understand the juggling act when it comes to fitting fitness into a busy life.

▫️I became qualified as a Personal Trainer in 2018 at North Metro Tafe Northbridge. I was a single parent and mum to a 1 year old and 8 year old at the time.

▫️I have always been into fitness especially growing up in Geraldton where sports is a big part of the community. Mine was Gymnastics and Netball.

▫️I started my own journey with a Personal Trainer in 2012 juggling being a solo parent as a “FIFO Wife” with a 2 year old daughter. During this time I competed in Bodybuilding.

▫️It was a conversation with my PT that sparked my interest into becoming a Personal Trainer myself and helping others find their love for a fit lifestyle and healthy nutrition too.

▫️Since becoming a Coach I am continuing my studies and building my skills in rehabilitation by studying Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science/Masters of Clinical Exercise Physiology at Murdoch University.

▫️My focus as a Coach is an holistic approach and helping clients achieve their goals from fat loss, their own goal at completing an obstacle course or lifestyle change.

▫️My main focus is “Face to Face” Clients.

▫️I first started designing my Personal Training business during my Business Module while completing my Cert IV at TAFE in 2018….

▫️My business name originated as-
“Carpe Diem Physiques”.

▫️I didn’t launch my Personal Training business until January 2021.

▫️When it came to launching, I thought “Carpe Diem Physiques” is a mouthful…

▫️So C.D.P is an abbreviation derived from “Carpe Diem Physiques”…

▫️As in literal speaking, we all “seize the day” on our health and fitness when we choose to take the leap in a lifestyle change for a healthier version of ourselves!

Okay, so… perimenopause?

It’s a wild ride. And no one really gives you the map.

Here’s what I’ve learned (and am still learning):

💥 Mood swings that come outta nowhere

😴 Sleep that ghosts you like a bad date

🔥 Hot flashes that feel like mini bonfires

🧠 Brain fog that makes you forget why you walked into the room

But also…

💪 A new kind of strength

🧘‍♀️ A deeper connection to what really matters

💬 A voice that’s finally saying, “I’m done people pleasing.”

This season is messy, magical, and totally transformative.

You’re not falling apart you’re coming together in a whole new way.

Here are some basic but effective core exercises

1. Plank

5. Mountain climbers
6. Leg raises
7. Bird dog

Tips for Effective Core Workouts:
Focus on form and controlled movements rather than speed.
Breathe steadily throughout the exercises.
Engage your core by pulling your belly button towards your spine.
Combine these exercises with overall body strength training and cardio for best results.
Incorporate these exercises into your routine 2-3 times per week, and you'll strengthen your core effectively!
