Well we had an amazing couple of days, lessons learned and a great time with me and my daughter racing. Sophie started the weekend getting back into the A-JD for the first time in 11 months. She did an outstanding job with a 0.039 light straight of the trailer. Unfortunately the wind dropped at exactly the wrong time for us and she ran almost a full tenth faster than her qualifying runs.. which had all been within a few hundredths.
Special mention to my mate Johnny Lewis for all the work getting the JD to the start lines, engine steering.. mate canโt thank you enough!!
Now I have to admit I have been chasing an improvement in the Cortina, but I have to admit the tune it came with from Perth seems to be the one it likes best so Iโve finally worked out I should just leave the bloody thing alone and run it as it is.
I also lost in Rnd 1 with a -004 red light.
Thank you Sophie racing with you is truly a fantastic way to spend any day.
