Come along and join us for our 2026 Open Day on Sunday, 20 September.

Whether you’re a returning member, new to the area, thinking about giving bowls a go, or simply keen to see what our club is all about, everyone is welcome.

It’s a great opportunity to catch up with familiar faces, meet some of our new members and players, have a roll-up and get ready for another season at Ridgley.

Members are asked to please bring a plate to share on the day.

A reminder that membership fees are due prior to the start of the season. Fees can be paid at Open Day, or members can contact our Treasurer, Leon White, to arrange payment.

Bring along your family and friends and enjoy a day at the club. We’d love to see plenty of new and familiar faces there.

We’re pleased to welcome Jay McDonald to the Ridgley family for the upcoming season.

Jay joins us after making the move to Burnie, having previously played his bowls with North Launceston, where he spent time as part of their Premier League side. His experience at that level will be a valuable addition to our playing group as he settles into life on the Coast.

With a good understanding of Premier League bowls and plenty of experience to draw on, we’re looking forward to seeing Jay get amongst it and make his mark in Ridgley colours.

It’s great to have Jay on board, and we’re excited to see what the season brings.

We are thrilled to welcome Fabian "Fabs" Smith to the club for the upcoming season

Making the move from South Burnie, Fabs has been a familiar face in Premier League bowls for many years, establishing himself as a dependable and respected member of their side.

His experience, steady presence and love of the game will make him a valuable addition to our playing group, and we're looking forward to seeing the contribution he'll make throughout the season.

We're excited to have Fabs on board and can't wait to see him in Ridgley colours.

We are thrilled to welcome Jodi Murphy-Dempster to the club for the upcoming season.

Coming across from Burnie, Jodi joins us as one of the premier players on the Coast and a proven performer at the highest level. Her selection in the Tasmanian Ladies State Side this season is a testament to her skill, consistency, and commitment to the game.
Jodi brings a wealth of experience, a competitive edge, and a passion for bowls that will be a fantastic addition to our club.

We can't wait to see Jodi in club colours and look forward to what she will bring both on and off the green.
