🚨 Change Of Schedule 🚨

Slight change of plans tomorrow for our first training session - we will be running a whole club training from 12pm to 1:30pm instead of separated times🏏

All other trainings remain as per below for now!

The countdown to the 2026/27 season is officially on, with our first pre-season training session kicking off Sunday 30th August at the West Park Indoor Nets!

Whether you’re returning for another season or joining Ridgley for the first time, it’s time to dust off the kit, get back into the nets and start preparing for a big season ahead. 💪🏏

We're pleased to welcome Dean O'Connor as A Reserve Captain for the 2026/27 season.

The O'Connor name has long been respected with the Ridgley sporting community, and we're thrilled to have Dean once again taking on a leadership role within the club.

With more than 500 games of cricket to his name, Dean brings a wealth of experience, knowledge and leadership to our A Reserve side. He is a respected figure both on and off the field and someone who leads through his actions.

We're excited to have Dean guiding our A Reserve team this season and have no doubt he'll continue to set a fantastic example for the playing group.

🏏 A GRADE CAPTAIN | Tyler "Tippa" Parker

We're delighted to announce Tyler as our A Grade Captain for the 2026/27 season.

Fresh from being crowned our A Grade Best & Fairest last season, Tyler steps into the captaincy following Guy "Chalky" Grey.

A proud Ridgley junior, Tyler has come full circle after beginning his cricket journey with our club. Combined with his experience as a Burnie Hurricanes premiership player, he brings outstanding leadership, game awareness and a genuine passion for developing those around him.

Tyler leads by example every time he takes the field, and we're excited to see him guide our A Grade side into the new season.

Congratulations, Tyler—we know you'll wear the role with pride.

🏏 COACHING CONSULTANT | Aaron "Azza" Butler

Few people have contributed to Ridgley Cricket Club quite like Aaron.

A former captain, coach, Best & Fairest winner, committee member and recently inducted Life Member, Aaron brings an incredible wealth of experience to our club.

In his newly created role as Coaching Consultant, Aaron will work closely alongside our coaching and leadership group, helping coordinate training, mentoring players, supporting social initiatives and providing invaluable behind-the-scenes guidance.

His focus will be on creating an environment where both our men's and women's players can continue to grow, improve and reach their full potential—both on and off the field.

🏏 ASSISTANT COACH | Brodie Deverell

We're excited to welcome Brodie Deverell back as Assistant Coach for the 2026/27 season.

Entering his second season with the club, Brodie has quickly become an integral part of our coaching group, also taking on the responsibility of Training Coordinator.

An experienced all-round cricketer, Brodie leads through action, helping to drive the standards, accountability and team-first culture that continues to strengthen our club.

We're thrilled to have Brodie and his family back at Ridgley as we continue our pursuit of building the best community cricket club we can be.

🏏 CLUB COACH | Guy "Chalky" Grey

We're proud to officially announce Guy "Chalky" Grey as our Club Coach for the 2026/27 season.

Chalky needs little introduction. A highly respected coach and player across the North West Coast, he enters his fourth season with Ridgley Cricket Club and continues to play a pivotal role in shaping our club both on and off the field.

This season, Chalky will oversee all three teams and our two women's teams, driving standards, developing players and continuing to build the positive culture that has become synonymous with Ridgley Cricket Club.

The cultural change Chalky has helped create over the past few seasons has been instrumental in our club's growth, and we're excited to see that journey continue throughout 2026/27.
