Thanks to Laughlin Cargnali for agreeing to sell this 2003 Troy Broadbridge player Issue. Due to a knee injury suffered in 2002 and 2 shoulder injuries in 2003, he was unable to wear this jumper during the 03 season

Taken too soon as a victim of the 2004 Asian Tsunami, Troy had finally established in the team during the 2004 season as a running half back.

To honor Troy's memory, Melbourne established the Troy Broadbridge Memorial Trophy to the Melbourne listed player that accumulates the most votes for the club's VFL affiliate.

An honour to be able to have these tribute jumpers in the collection. Following the passing of the great Neale Daniher, both Melbourne and Essendon commissioned jumpers to honour Neale's life not only in Football, but also his amazing efforts to raise funds and awareness for MND.

Close to home for our family, my wife's step father was diagnosed with MND around the same time as Neale, but sadly succumbed to the beast too soon

The auction for these were done via the MND platform which was different than normal with all jumpers finishing at the same time. As a result i ended up with 3 of these to make sure I didn't miss out!

Happy to have another Trent Rivers in the collection, and a player who has really developed this season in Koltyn Tholstrup. The third is a young defender, Jed Adams, who has played one game, but had some injury issues over his career.

This 2007 Trainer appeared on Ebay last week. After I checked my collection, I didn't have a player issue of this version and the price was right so of course it had to come my way.

By coincidence, I do have a yellow version and it is also #37, which was worn by Matthew Warnock

Trainers are not a high priority and are a nice to have as a part of the collection.

A late arrival of one of the Jim Stynes tribute jumpers. Jai Culley was injured a week later and wasn't available on the signing day.

Like the way Jai goes about it and looking forward to him returning in 2027.

This is the second Culley into the collection, having secured one of his debut season #46 jumpers last year
