Some people enter the fitness industry thinking they’ll be judged before they’re even given a chance.

That’s exactly how Ash felt when he first started.

After moving from New Zealand and stepping into the industry full-time, one of his biggest fears was that people would constantly judge him or question whether he belonged. But according to Ash, that fear disappeared quickly once he experienced the environment at Dukes Gym. 💛

Now, only two months into working at Dukes as a junior coach, he’s already grown not just as a trainer — but as a communicator, mentor, and professional.

For Ash, being a great coach isn’t about ego or showing off. It’s about genuinely caring about people, paying attention to their goals, and helping them become better versions of themselves. 💪

And his advice for anyone thinking about joining the team?
