Just a quick update.

I’ve temporarily taken the tails off my website while I recover from a nasty virus. Unfortunately, I’m also now looking after my partner, who is unwell, so we’ll be isolating for at least the next five days.

We’re currently on a property near Sarina, QLD 4737, and won’t be travelling anywhere until we’re both feeling much better. Phone service here is very limited, so we’re relying on Starlink for internet when we can.

I’m so sorry to everyone waiting on tail orders. If your order is urgent, I completely understand if you need to source one elsewhere—this situation is simply out of my control.

I’ll be back in touch as soon as I’m feeling better. Today is day 5 for me, and I still feel like I’ve been hit by a very big bus! 🚌

I love seeing my tails doing exactly what they were made to do and looking so beautiful on the horse.

Every tail I make has a lot of love, time, care and attention to detail put into it. They’re all individually handcrafted to suit each horse and rider, and seeing the finished product out enjoying life is the best reward.

Hi everyone, it’s Jocelyn from Equine Image! 👋

Just a little update from the road…

I’m currently in St Lawrence, North Queensland until next week, then I’ll be heading to the Sarina/Mackay area before taking a well-earned break.

As many of you know, I’m a bespoke false tail maker, so I don’t carry a huge amount of ready-made stock. Every tail is custom made to suit you, which is why planning ahead is always a good idea.

🐴 What I do have available is listed on the website.

I’m travelling with all my bulk tail hair and making tails as I choose, while enjoying a better balance between work and travel. It’s been wonderful meeting so many lovely people along the way.

If you’ve been thinking about ordering a custom tail made by me, please don’t leave it until the last minute.

⚠️ The website will be temporarily closed in a couple of weeks while I take a break and go offline. If you’d like a tail before then, now is the perfect time to get your order in.

Let’s talk about Euro Extensions.

I’ve been making Euro Extensions for over 40 years and, at this stage, I only make them to order. The reason for this is simple – I like to talk directly with you about your individual requirements to ensure you get exactly what you need.

Euro Extensions are available in a variety of lengths, colours, and thicknesses, so pricing will vary depending on your specifications.

The extension pictured is for a Shetland. It is less than single thickness in weight before fitting, but once fitted it will present as more than double thickness. You’ll also notice the natural, slightly fluffy ends, which are perfect for achieving a realistic look on a Shetland.

Every horse and pony is different, and every client has different goals, which is why I don’t sell stock-standard extensions.

How lucky am I to be able to do what I love — travel Australia while making false tails and Euro extensions for my wonderful clients.

It’s been such a cool experience meeting fellow travellers, chatting with people as I work on tails and Euros, and sharing the journey with so many amazing people.

Every stop has brought new conversations, new friendships, and plenty of laughs. I’m grateful for every one of you who continues to support my small Australian business.
