I have included a few excerpts from my BODYART experience session at Studio 1 recently
when I guided my APT Community BODYART’ists thru the 5 Basic DW segments - each between 90secs to 2 mins with a 30 sec hold between finishing with grounding & centre-ing.

Every segment has several variations that participants choose from. The important message here is choice - never should or competitiveness - simply ‘what feels right and good for me to continue with today’ This is the one time enjoying & feeling into the beat of the music works well - heart rate increases, but not ever to a point you are over pushing & feel you cannot keep going.

My passion project is progressing well . . . but it’s taking time. Personally speaking & connecting with every person who performed, played or did production on the Stacey Night 2016 is quite an undertaking.

My mission and the way I carried it out was clear, straightforward & respectful. It needed to be in line with the generous love driven energy the Stacey Trust and Award was kept alive over the 20 years I was Director and Administrator. It is a massive part of Australian Music history.

Brian Stacey died tragically when he was the Musical Director of the original Australian production of Sunset Boulevard. Just before it was due to open at the Regent Theatre, he was hit by a car riding home on his motorbike - it was 25 Oct 1996. Starring in the show was a very young Hugh Jackman & Guy Noble ended up becoming the MD & as it turns out was the first recipient of the Stacey Award.

The 22 Stacey Award alumni (namesake award for emerging Australian Conductors) are now all over the world making music in many different genres - something we are incredibly proud of.

I have just a handful of singers to contact and connect with to be able to proceed with the surprise to mark 30 years of Brian Stacey’s passing.

The exciting part is everyone will be able to share and enjoy something truley special if I can talk to those last few!

Hello first day of Spring 🌸

My orchid of over 30 years has a record number of blooms. It must love my courtyard as I do nothing except make sure it has water. I love watching it grow it’s big graceful spikes of heavy oval buds and then it gradually blooms in its own grow and flow time.

I have watched the blossom tree at the end of my street come into flower too. Every year it heralds the Spring!

Nature through the seasons is our teacher - we can lead with love - however the time to blossom & flourish will happen when we simply let it . . . 🌸💕🌸

Sundaze . . . lovely walk around the tan today & coffee sitting outside after chatting with girlfriends about life. It’s a lovely regular part of my Sunday most weekends.

Walking is a joy for me, in good company around the green of the tan (gardens inside)

Came home, had a nutritious late lunch & domestic chores listening to this excellent podcast.

Yes it’s a lot about feet (I am obsessed but for all the good reasons, esp after abusing my feet as a professional ballet dancer for a long time! Love my feet now) It’s more than anything about how important walking & moving is in our life. Our feet - their strength & mobility are literally the foundation to that, and we need to look at all aspects of them. Footwear, walking, loading, mobility, pain and more. Very do-able small transitions are key 🔑

This podcast will give you at least a couple of immediate easy do-able actions you can implement right NOW. It’s true response-ability appropriate to you. It’s what APT is all about!

Maybe listen to it over a few walks - I could not stop listening , so was cleaning, loading & hanging out washing, got heaps done!

I will also say APT training is very much focussed on foot health, barefoot training and recognising what your feet need now.
