The end of the bulk phase is nearing.
3 Tips for bulking ✅

1️⃣Plan your phases based on how you feel about your physique not your weight. Sometimes the weight you want doesn’t give you the look you want. Pushing the bulk to a certain target weight only causes stress and accumulation of unnecessary body fat gain (especially if you have a timeframe).

2️⃣Use your energy wisely. On a bulk you will have more energy. Use this energy to progressive overload. Push yourself to increase weights, reps and intensity.

3️⃣Protein Intake. You need to give yourself adequate protein for your muscles to grow and recover. Most people focus on just increasing carbs and fats to hit their calories, but not even consuming adequate levels of protein. (Your target needs to be at least 2g X Bodyweight)

Chris has been a busy man, managing his business and setting up his life while still being able to prep for this comp.

Chris has only been training for just over a year, and it’s crazy to see him commit completely to the comp prep process. Hard work and discipline and having a great support network of people has pushed Chris through this prep.

Rob’s really done an amazing job with his diet and training, the hardest part is always making the decision to mentally stepping on that stage and pushing through all the attributes and challenges of comp prep 🏆

Looking absolutely insane (4 weeks out in this picture) can’t wait for the final product he brings on stage in March. He’s got such a bright future ahead 💪

This is what you call 99% client adherence. What I mean is that there’s not a gram that goes over or under when Rob weighs food, not a step that’s under or over when he does cardio. Rob’s will power and work ethic is what puts his physique in such great conditioning.
-
When you make up your mind on a task or a goal you want to achieve, you must commit 100% and believe in yourself. This is what Rob is very good at and what I preach when I coach clients for whatever their goal is.
-
Win or lose, I will be happy knowing Rob has put in 110%.
-
This goes with all my athletes competing, they know if they don’t put in the effort, the outcome will not be desired.

Super happy with the outcome of powerlifting comp today! He competed in the 105 category at meet. He absolutely smashed it! 🔥

Being only 18 years old, he pulled some great numbers! And went 6/9 lifts 🏋️‍♂️ . He put in the work and the results showed.

❗️MY BIGGEST INSECURITY***😱

I’m not sure if you can see might need to zoom in the photo on the left. But my biggest insecurity was having ACNE.
-
All through high school up until 21-22 I had a lot of acne, tried countless creams and low dose medicine to get rid of it. However there were three things that really changed my skin forever!!
-
✅ Roaccutane: is a super strong medicine that is prescription based by a doctor/dermatologist which significantly helped improve my skin. I’m not gonna talk about this is as I’m not qualified to, but I would definitely consult your GP to get started.
-
✅ Cutting out Dairy. This you should definitely try if you have acne. I limited my dairy intake significantly (only have a little bit in my cappuccino)
✅ Limited oily and processed foods. I used to have McDonald’s and other takeaway foods almost every second or third day. After limiting myself on this as well, I noticed my skin clearing.
-
So often we look for solutions that don’t involve changing our diet. Overlooking the obvious. If you have acne and you want to take the first step, definitely deep dive into the details of your diet, removing or adding foods like I did!

Chris will be competing in his first ever bodybuilding competition in March and then again in April.

It’s exciting to see clients set goals like these and be on the road to achieving it.

MAKING YOUR “FAT LOSS JOURNEY” SUIT YOUR LIFESTYLE 🔥🏃🏃‍♀️

In order to make a change to your physique, you need to make a change to your lifestyle.

Here’s some solutions that might make your fat loss journey a slightly more enjoyable one.
-
Now these won’t work if you’re gonna put in no effort.
-
✅ Meal prep is 🔑 spend a Sunday morning or day you have more free than others to weigh all the foods you want I eat for the week. Put your veggies in zip lock bags so you can just add it to your meal straight away. Same thing with your protein, carbs and fats.
✅ Calorie sparing: some people like a nice dinner out or a couple drinks, the easiest way would be to overestimate the calories you might have, and then reduce your normal foods during the day to compensate this (don’t reduce your protein)
✅ Steps and activity: whilst the gym is beneficial in a multitude of ways, you might not have access or maybe miss a session or two. But simply trying to be more active everyday such as going for walks and moving more, will help you enormously!
✅When in doubt always OVERESTIMATE. This is to do with calories, sometimes there are foods difficult to track or we go to a restaurant/bar, you always want to overestimate as this leaves room for errors, and will ensure you are in a deficit.

12 week fat loss transformation. Gagan worked extremely hard, followed the program, asked questions and always had a smile on his face.
-
Results speak for themselves, he’s lost 10kgs in these 12 weeks, but what was most important, was his mentality of getting into the gym routine. With a busy schedule, it’s never easy to dedicate time to the gym, however, he always made time to get a session in, whether it was 6am in the morning or 8pm at night.
-
Nutrition: was flexible, following allocated Marcos and calories. This approach suited Gagans lifestyle.
-
He pushed himself with the weights as well, tracking his progression and always trying to do more! We did add cardio sessions in as well.
-
Overall great effort my man, extremely proud! let’s see what we can do from now onwards!!
