Some snaps from yesterday’s Cross Country! Thank you to all our fellow NMR centres and athletes for attending. What a great day it was! So much great community spirit and incredible positivity across the board. Plenty of smiles on the faces of athletes which is why we do what we do!

Thank you to our volunteers who worked hard not just yesterday on the course , in the canteen and BBQ and around the club but in the lead in to the day preparing for hosting. A big thank you to our PRLAC athletes who also helped us throughout the day in between their events too! Special mention to the canteen fab four sisters of Quinn, Yolanda, Maria and Antoinette who did wonders in the canteen despite any of them having athletes running!

More photos to come! 📸

URGENT HELP NEEDED FOR SATURDAY

We have had a couple of late withdrawals for our canteen on Saturday and require 2 additional people to step up so our canteen can operate when we host Cross Country this Saturday 13th June. Stock has already been purchased so would be a shame for it to go to waste. Support will be provided. Responsibilities include serving customers with canteen orders and making coffees. Time is 8:15am/8:30am (to prepare canteen) until approx 11am.

This is a great fundraising opportunity for our centre (which will in turn then support the development of our athletes) so your support and help is greatly appreciated. If you can assist, please reach out to Lynton on 0424 579 850

Cross Country returns this Saturday as PRLAC hosts at Edwardes Lake Park. First events start at 9am with warm up taking place at 8:45am. Due to the increased amount of athletes/families attending, parking along Griffiths Street may be limited. Please use surrounding streets for parking if necessary.

We will have the canteen and BBQ running so encourage you to support our centre by grabbing something to eat for breakfast either pre/post race and a coffee to warm you up too!

All PRLAC U6-17 athletes are encouraged to participate whether they have ran in cross country meets previously or not. No need to register or nominate, just turn up in correct PRLAC uniform and CBA name patch and you are all set! Our Cross Country Manager, Kerrie will be in attendance around our PRLAC teardrop flag on the hill if you have any questions on the day. For those waiting to pay for XC or Relays, please pay at the canteen.

For those who are on the roster to volunteer on the course, we kindly ask that you arrive by 8:30am for a briefing and course walk so all volunteers are in position by 8:45am ready for athletes to start racing! Lynton will be in touch later tonight.
