Reminder, the Paul Masse Bujinkan seminar is coming up in 1 week (Sat/Sun/Mon - June 6/7/8) @ Thornbury Guests Martial Arts The Self Defence Experts

We have about 10 students confirmed coming from Raining Spirit Dojo, let me know if anyone else is attending and needs a ticket.
I can check if there are still some available.

Looking forward to a great weekend with everyone. ^_^

Hey everybody!
Sylph here (Raining Spirit Dojo owner)
Re-posting this from my personal page as I am offering a 6 part webinar series on "What is Money?".

If any friends / families / students of the dojo are interested in attending leave a comment below and I'll share a "friends and colleagues" discount promo code for you.

-----------

I have been asked by lots of people over the past few years to run a workshop / seminar / course about money. So instead I've created a short 6x part webinar series called "What is Money?".
I wanted the largest number of people to be able to get access.

I'm running 6 sessions fortnightly starting from May 13th:
- What is Money?, An introduction and the philosophy of money
- The difference between Investing and Speculating
- The difference between an Asset and a Liability
- What is Credit and Debt
- What is your Net Wealth?, How to Budget
- What can you do with your money

Check out the details and grab tickets for the sessions that interest you. There is a discount "whole series" ticket available.

This is not financial advice, it's for education purposes. It's general in nature and gives a big eagle-eye view of what money is and what it does.

If you've been wanting to hear me speak about this for a while, now's your chance. 🙂 🌳 ✌

Tickets for What is Money? - An introduction with Sylph at on May 13, 2026

Shout out to students, friends and families of the dojo, today is Raining Spirit Dojo's 17th Birthday! (1st May 2009).

Thanks to everyone who has supported the dojo over the past 17 years. The students who started as 5 year old kids who are now young adults, some with kids of their own!.
The amazing friendships that have been formed over the years.
The adventures we have been on (and continue to do!), training trips to Japan and flying around Australia for seminar weekends.

I want to personally thank everyone who has been involved with Raining Spirit Dojo since its beginning, whether you are still an active member or not.
Thanks for bringing so much fun, laughter and adventure.

I'll bring cake to tonight's birthday class (6:30pm-7:30pm Bujinkan + 7:30pm-9pm Hoshinden).
See you on the mats tonight! 😁🥳🔥🍰🎂🎉

Hi all,
Despite the heat for VIC tomorrow (Friday 9th Jan) we will ride the weather expectation of the drop in temps for the evening and will push forward with running classes tomorrow evening.

Weather expectations show 12pm-5pm = 43*c,
6pm = 32*c
7pm = 27*c

Classes run:
Bujinkan 6:30-7:30pm
General Hoshinden 7:30-9pm
Advanced Hoshinden 9-10pm

Bring a good water bottle! (put ice in your water bottle before you come to class) and wear your Gi pants and training T-shirt (no need to bring a Gi top to class tomorrow night).

We'll have a slow and paced first day of classes for 2026. ✌️
