The Lawns Bowling Club presentation day was held last Sunday and was very well attended with everyone enjoying a great couple of hours together.
Two significant presentations were made outside of the usual player awards.
Firstly to Ray and Lyn Ashworh in appreciation of the services that they have contributed to the club . Lyn and Ray will be missed and our club wishes them well for their future.
Secondly our Ladies patron Ruth Christie was recognized for turning 90.She is still bowling and is a whiz on our greens.
A Lawns Legend for sure.

The recent Audrey Hefford Triples competition was most successful with the Lawns hosting part of this competition over 2 days.Our club looked great presenting it's version of the Hawaiian theme.
Thanks to those that helped in any way .
Some Lawns ladies played in the event with various degrees of success but all enjoying the experience.

Today the Ladies 100 up final was played between Sue Machell and Steph Brauer.Congratulations
to both ladies on reaching the final of this event but especially to Sue , who was the winner of the game today after some excellent bowling.

Want something different to do on Friday afternoons?Turn off the TV don't worry about the mowing, forget the shopping.... head down to the Lawns bowling club Tolarno St.Renmark from 12.45 pm for social bowls.Play with a great group of people and stay after and enjoy a social drink or a meal afterwards at the club rooms .
