We can’t wait to see all our Redbacks back on the field this weekend, with a full schedule of football kicking off with our littlest Redbacks tomorrow morning.

Both Donald Road and Sel Outridge Oval will be open for training today. Please refrain from using the matchday goals at Sel Outridge to prevent damage to fields. A decision has been made to open the fields to provide an opportunity for teams to train but assistance is required to keep our fields open.

Please be mindful of where you are training, and avoid doing repetitive drills or ones that require repeated use of the same spot that will cause undue damage to the fields.

With more showers forecast today, our focus remains firmly on giving this weekend’s fixtures the best possible chance of going ahead.

To help protect our playing surfaces, Donald Road will remain closed today.

Teams wishing to train are encouraged to consider Sel Outridge Oval, where goals are available for use. Please note that Tuesday afternoons are typically busy, while Thursday currently has more available space for teams looking to run larger drills and training activities.

We appreciate everyone’s cooperation as we work together to preserve our fields and maximise opportunities for football this weekend.

With more wet weather today and already saturated fields. It is with great disappointment all home games scheduled for Sunday 14th June have been cancelled.

We know how frustrating this is for our players, families, coaches and volunteers after another challenging stretch of weather.

Thank you for your patience, understanding and continued support as we put player safety and field recovery first.

We sincerely look forward to seeing the end of these disruptions and our fields buzzing again with Redbacks doing what we love.

All Mini Kickers, MiniRoos and Metro League home games have been cancelled for Saturday 13th June.

FIELD UPDATE

Due to the recent rain and wet weather, Donald Road Fields will remain closed today, however Sel Outridge oval will be open for training. Please conduct your own assessments of the area your team trains to avoid puddles and injuries.

We hope the over the next 24 hours the fields will continue to dry out to allow games to go ahead on Saturday!
