We hope you’ve all been staying safe and well.

It’s been a long wait; we have missed you and couldn’t be more excited to welcome you back to NCIE soon.

We serve a vulnerable community, so making sure that all safety measures are in place before we reopen is essential.

The health, safety, and wellbeing of NCIE, members, clients, customers, community, and staff, are our number one priority.

Due to this NCIE Fitness will not be reopening on 11 October.

We are eagerly planning & preparing for a fun, safe, and responsible reopening and will provide you with an opening date as soon as possible!

Run into the weekend with this running session from NCIE Fitness Centre Manager Danny! 🥳🏃🏽‍♂️💪🏾

Danny is a proud Dharawal/Wiradjuri man with a passion for fitness and footy. He isn’t the biggest fan of running but he likes the way it makes him feel afterward and knows it keeps him sharp on the footy field!

Here are a few tips from Danny to help you maximise this workout:

Tip 1 👉🏾 Try training with a buddy, it can keep you motivated, accountable and it’s fun!

Tip 2 👉🏾 Focus on your footwork when turning for the next shuttle, your first 3 steps are key for speed & momentum.

Tip 3 👉🏾 Wear appropriate footwear, so you don't trip or fall.

This workout sequence can be repeated as many times as needed to suit your fitness level. Take it to the next level and skip the rests in-between!

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples share a special connection to this country and to each other, through our cultures, communities, and shared experiences. Regardless of where we live, or who our mob is, we all go through tough times, times when we don’t feel great about our lives or ourselves. That’s why it’s important to always be looking out for each other. Because we're Stronger Together.
