Comp Day is almost here, Saturday 18th October.
Brodie and I have been training together in preparation for this powerlifting comp.
Brodie has progressed very well, and this last phase of his program has achieved PB's EVERY SINGLE TRAINING SESSION!
Ordinarily, progressive overload is not about lifting your heaviest every time you train. But when it comes to a powerlifting comp, the last week especially is when you test your strength each time you train, so that you can get a good idea of a game plan for the comp.
This will be Brodie's first comp, and I know he will stay focused while being nervously excited... just as I will! LOL
You are all welcome to come and cheer us on, as well as the other athletes 💪🏼
