🍒💣 CHERRY BOMB 💣🍒

Our Ninjas delivered some fantastic results at the EVA Air Brisbane Marathon Festival yesterday. Sandra TheRiver ran a brilliant sub-4 hour PB of 3:57:20 in the marathon, while Alex Edwards completed her first ever marathon in a strong 4:18. Cynthia Cliff took 2nd in her age group in the 10km, and Martin Schett finished 4th in category in the marathon.

It was great to see so many SSG members out there representing the club across all distances. Sharni Speranza and Roisin McGee ran the 10km, while Jason Joffe and Chris Thomas tackled the half marathon.

Huge congrats to every Ninja who raced this weekend. You all did the club proud!

What a fantastic day at the inaugural SSG Beachside Out & Back!

Runners completed as many 3 km loops as they could in 6 hours along the beautiful Suttons Beach path. We saw some serious determination, plenty of laughs, creative costumes (including a certain inflatable unicorn), and even a king and princess crowned at the end.

Massive thanks to everyone who took part, volunteered, and cheered from the sidelines. Special shout-out to those who kept the energy high with snacks, cold drinks, and post-event pizza.

Already looking forward to the next one. Who’s keen to join us next time?

Beautiful Wednesday morning with the SSG Multisports Wednesday Swim Group at Suttons Beach!

Low tide at 5:30 and a stunning sunrise as we entered the water. It was chilly but absolutely worth it for that golden light and great company.
