Raiders Softball Club is the largest club playing under the Ipswich Softball Association. With hundreds of members and players ranging from 4 years through to our seniors we have teams to suit players of all ages and experience. Starting with T'Ball, Rookie Ball, Under 12's, Under 14's and Under 16's, then moving into our Women's A, B & C and Mens A & B grades. Raiders pride themselves on a family

orientated club with a full support system in place so you can just "play the game". Our coaches, scorers and umpires all hold the appropriate qualifications and are experienced in their field. We have a large presence in the Ipswich Softball Representative teams not only with our players but also with our highly qualified officials. The funds we raise through various fundraising activities fund the qualification and training of our officials, assist in funding the cost for our representative players to travel and compete in the Ipswich Representative teams and also keeps our training equipment stocked and in good order. If you live in our area and are looking for a fun sport to play in a family orientated club, Raiders is the place for you.

To enable the Association to showcase our grounds we are asking for help from our Clubs please.

Working Bee: Saturday 2nd May from 9am. BBQ lunch
Mat will have a list of what is still required.

if you have any members who may be able to come and help Mat Camp out during the day next week it would be greatly appreciated. Every day no matter how much time you are able to give.

What a week in the world of Softball for our club!
Last weekend saw the U14 State Championships played at Toowoomba. Raiders were represented in the Ipswich Boys Team by Player Ethan & Official Raymond with the boys finishing up in 5th place.
The Ipswich Girls included players Aaleyah & Faatino with officials Katie, Kate & Granny. The girls team finishing in 3rd Place.
Following the weekend both Faatino & Aaleyah were names in the Qld U14 Fire team to compete at Nationals in the new year!
To round off the week we had Ruby & Faatino head off to Canberra as part of the Australian U14 Women’s Squad for a training camp.
Congratulations to each of you on your achievements!
