What is the Women’s Mentoring Program?
The SLSA Women’s Mentoring Program is a 12-month online initiative for members aged 16 and above. Each mentee is paired with a mentor from another state or territory, encouraging diverse perspectives, shared experiences, and national connections.

Launched on 1 July 2020 as part of the 40‑year celebration of women in SLS, the Program has now supported more than 250 mentors and mentees from across Australia.

That's a wrap for the 2025/26 patrol season, as today ours flags were lowered for the last time this season.
In spite of the weather our Patrol 2 team and voluntary members had an enjoyable last patrol. 🌞🌦
Thankyou to all our members this season for the dedication and effort to ensure visitors and the community of our beautiful Red Rock are safe. 👏

🌟Wednesday shoutout🌟 👏
Patrols for our small club particularly following a long weekend can often be tight, with our members often doing multiple weekends in a row. This past weekend members from Evans Head Casino SLSC came down to give our members a break. Many Thanks to Michael, Darren, David, Chrissy, Aedan, Jacob and Darren from Evans Head. Along with Glynis and Ash from Woolgoolga and of course our very own Sara who all patrolled our beach for us over the weekend.
We thank you greatly and hope you all enjoyed the weekend at beautiful Red Rock! 🌞🌊

🌟Last Sunday 28th March saw the wrap up of our Nippers for the season. 🌟
Our Nippers enjoyed some fun in the river and burned off some energy with many activities in the park, which definitely worked up some hungry bellys! 🌞
Thanks to the generous support of Reflections Holidays Red Rock Store, our Nippers were able to enjoy a feast including Lollies and ice poles. Thankyou Red Rock Store, you definitely made the smiles even brighter last week 👏😃

Our last few weeks we have had some super eager new faces show us what they can do. But last week Fox Henderson showed that he is not one to be forgotten, taking out the weeks Corindi Beach Hotel Nipper of the week! Great work Fox 👏
