πŸ’™πŸ¦ˆ Port Stephens Netball Association 15 YEARS | SENIOR STATE TITLES 2026 πŸ¦ˆπŸ’™

For these athletes, the 2026 Netball NSW Senior State Titles marked their very first experience of representative netball at this level having transitioned up from Junior State Titles and what an incredible journey it was!

Competing in Division 3, this young group embraced every challenge that came their way with courage, determination and a never-give-up attitude.

While the final ladder position may not fully reflect their tournament, those who watched them throughout the weekend know just how competitive they were.

Time and time again they found themselves in closely contested matches, pushing their opponents all the way and demonstrating tremendous growth with every game they played.

The improvement shown across the three days was outstanding, and the foundations built during this campaign will serve these athletes well for years to come.

A huge thank you must go to Coach Tania Conway and Team Manager Jenny Withey for their incredible support, guidance and commitment throughout the entire 2026 representative season.

The positive environment you created allowed these athletes to learn, grow and enjoy every moment of their representative experience.

And of course, we can't finish without recognising the real champions of the weekend... πŸ¬πŸ’™

πŸ’™πŸ¦ˆ PORT STEPHENS OPENS | SENIOR STATE TITLES 2026 πŸ¦ˆπŸ’™

What a weekend it was for our Port Stephens Opens team!

Twelve athletes came together to proudly represent Port Stephens Netball Association at the Netball NSW Senior State Titles. For some, Season 2026 was their very first taste of representative netball as young adults, while for others it was another chapter in a long and proud history of wearing the Port Stephens representative dress. For one, she joined the team in the final days as another faced an injury the weekend before and cheered proudly from the sideline all weekend!

Led by Coach Danielle Tranter and Team Manager Lois Tranter, this group embraced every challenge that came their way and demonstrated what it means to be part of the Port Stephens netball family.

Across a demanding weekend of competition, the team secured five outstanding wins, showcasing determination, resilience and a commitment to one another.

The road wasn't without its challenges. The team battled through three more serious injuries across Days 2 and 3, yet they never let adversity define them. They continued to support one another, compete with pride and fight for every ball until the final whistle.

While results tell part of the story, the true success of this team was the spirit they displayed throughout the tournament β€” resilience, teamwork, friendship and pride in representing Port Stephens.

Congratulations to every athlete, Danielle and Lois on a fantastic Senior State Titles campaign. We are incredibly proud of what you achieved both on and off the court.

πŸ’™ One Association. One Goal.
