Had a really great turnup 8 bowlers and 2 non bowlers,which have played corporate bowls before,Erica,Ireelae, 2 bowlers from Hopey,weather was supurb,2xgames 8 ends,some really great bowls rolled today,thanks to everyone for making the effort to keep our little club ticking over,cheers

On the 17th of January, we had our OD TRANSPORT sponsor day,we
had 64 players from far and wide,we played 3xgames of 14 ends,we started with a spider,(a coin is placed under the yellow jac,out in the middle of the green,everyone let's 1 bowl go at the same time,closest to the coin wins a prize,but its lovely to see all the different coloured bowls out there.I would like to thankyou to our small crew that came to the working bee,Brian,Vennie,Rodney,you guys did a mighty effort getting the green looking and running fabulous on the day,thanks to Ken for sorting all the bottles etc,and Jac and Lynne for cleaning inside, you all did a great job.Thankyou to the Hopetoun bowls ladies for adding to our morning tea.Lance for his donation to the raffle.Thankyou to Lynne Daw who did a great job in the kitchen all day,to Madeline Norman for helping toget the hamburgers done,also to Iralee Power for working the bar all day ,great job.AND A HUGE THANKS TO OD TRANSPORT WITHOUT THERE ON GOING SPONSOR SHIP THIS EVENT WOULD NOT HAPPEN.Winners for the day 1st was Blake & Tania Andrews,Trudy & Micheal.2nd prize Tonks,Lee,Judy,Rusty.3rd prize Ted & Rachel Young,Sally & Rex.4th Darryl Quin,Marilyn Jackson,Dawn,Coral Grant.Congratulations to all the winners.Thanks again to anyone that helped on the day,that I haven't mentioned, Cheers Denise

Thanks to the crew, from hopey for coming up to Ravey to play bowls,had a great day 12 players,we played 2 games of three bowl tripples,great company,and bowls.Winners Des Barr,Lynne Murdock,Denise Edwards,cheers everyone

Thanks to all the crew that came from Hopey we had 14 players today nice to have a few more rinks in use,we played 2x8 ends and 1x4 ends,some pairs some tripples,winners were Brian Button with 27points and Carole Lee with 24points,fun day had by all Cheers everyone

Thanks to all those who turned up for working bee in ravey today, in preep for our OD TRANSORT DAY,which is next saturday,great day good company, we had a sausage on the barbe after,and a few refreshments thanks so much.

We had 8 bowlers today,girls Jac,Betty,Lynne and Denise v boys David,Paul, Rodney,Ken.
2bowls x 12 ends,well the girls started off well ,had the boys 5 /0,and then fell in a small whole,anyway boys done the girls 16/6,so still had to cook tea ,nothing new,a great day of bowls we are such a small group,let's keep it up cheers denise

We had our opening day for the start of the bowls season, 8 people attending,we played 2xgames of pairs,the winner was Lynne,runner up 2nd Val and David,well done to you all,thanks for attending,we had a great day cheers
