This Sunday we welcome the Griffith Waratahs to Yenda in what promises to be a huge day of rugby league.

A special moment awaits in Reserve Grade, with the Tevita Mahe Memorial Shield up for grabs. More than just a game, this match is about honouring the memory of Tevita Mahe — a mate, teammate, and family man who left a lasting impact on so many. Both sides will take the field with passion, pride, and plenty of heart as they play for something much bigger than two competition points.

Across all grades, expect tough contests, plenty of emotion, and a great day of footy as our Blueheelers battle the Waratahs.

Next weekend after the footy we will be auctioning off a set of 13 heritage jerseys featuring our original blue and gold colours.
In 1926 blue-and-gold were chosen as the colours of the first Rankins Springs RLFC. There were many iterations including all blue, stripes and all gold before changing in 1954 to the current red-and-white.
