Established in 1986, the Phoenix Celtic are one of the only Irish Football teams in Australia.

Based in Randwick, Sydney the Phoenix currently play in the Eastern Suburbs Football Association Premier and Reserve league grade.

What a season from our AA4s. 💚🤍

After being good enough to win the league twice this year — the lads had one final job to do.

And they delivered in style. 4–1 in the Grand Final to finish an unbelievable season as League & Grand Final Champions.

This group has been exceptional all year. The performances, commitment, togetherness and craic have been first class from start to finish. When the big moments came, they stepped up every single time.

A season this group will remember for a long, long time.

This Saturday the AA4 lads head to Hensley Stadium to take on Dunbar Rovers in the Grand Final. 💚🤍

It’s been a massive season to get to this point, but there’s still one more job to finish.

We want a huge Phoenix crowd on the sideline. Get down early, get the green and white on and get behind the boys as they look to finish the season with some silverware! ☘️🏆

🏆 DOUBLE LEAGUE WINNERS… APPARENTLY! 🏆

After celebrating our league title last weekend, we somehow found ourselves having to win it all over again today. 😂

Following a series of decisions from the league association, the format of the competition was effectively changed on the final day of the season, leaving FOUR clubs with a chance of being crowned champions.

Yes, you read that correctly — the rules changed on the last day of the season. 🤯

So today, our lads had one job: WIN.

And rather than leave our fate in anyone else’s hands, they went out and did exactly that.

For the SECOND WEEK IN A ROW, Phoenix FC are LEAGUE CHAMPIONS! 🏆🏆☘️

Thankfully the lads saved everyone from what could have been one of the most embarrassing finishes to a league competition we’ve ever seen.

☘️ Weekend Results ☘️

A mixed weekend for the club, but with just 3 rounds remaining, every one of our teams still has plenty to play for.

💚 Prems
A tough afternoon away to Coogee, going down 5-2. Not the result we were after, but the boys are still firmly in the race for a Grand Finals spot. Three massive games ahead, and everything is still in our hands.

⚽ Reserves
Another clean sheet. Another three points.
A 1-0 win over Maroubra sees the Ressies move joint top of the table with only 3 games to play. The title race is going right down to the wire.

🔥 AA4
What a performance.
A dominant 6-1 win over UNSW keeps the lads sitting top of the table. The equation couldn’t be simpler:
Win the final three games, and the league title is ours. 💪🏆
