🟠🟠 The GWS Giants are hosting the 2026 GIANT Club March for Junior AFL clubs and we have been invited to participate! 🟠🟠

Date: Saturday 11 July
Time: 4.15pm game start, club march at half-time
Match: GIANTS v Geelong Cats (Round 18)
Location: ENGIE Stadium (Olympic Park)

Our club has access to an exclusive ticketing offer to make the day accessible for the whole family, with $10 adults and kids go free!

🖤💛❤️ Indigenous Round 2026 Photos ❤️💛🖤

It was wonderful to see our U11 Girls and U13 Boys, along with Penshurst Panthers U11 Girls and Moore Park Tigers U13 Boys, come together for the Welcome to Country, smoking ceremony and cultural performance by Walangari Karntawarra and the Diramu Aboriginal Dance Group.

Choosing just 20 photos from the performance was nearly impossible, with Bec capturing over 100 incredible moments. These are just a few snapshots from a special and memorable Indigenous Round celebration.

🖤💛❤️ Indigenous Round 2026 ❤️💛🖤

On Sunday, we came together as a club to recognise and celebrate the rich history, culture and contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

We reflected on the connection between Australian Rules Football and the Indigenous game of Marngrook, a game played for generations and one that helped shape the sport we love today.

As a club situated on the shores of Botany Bay, we acknowledge that we gather on the traditional lands of the Bidjigal people, whose connection to this land, waterways and sea stretches back tens of thousands of years.

We pay our respects to Elders past and present and thank everyone who joined us for this special Indigenous Round ceremony. It was a meaningful reminder of the importance of respect, recognition and coming together as a community.

Helping us honour Indigenous Round, our major sponsors Ramsgate RSL Club and societiegroup arranged a special Welcome to Country with The Settlement Neighbourhood Centre and smoking ceremony and cultural performance by Walangari Karntawarra and the Diramu Aboriginal Dance Group.

Preparations are underway for Indigenous Round at Tonbridge Oval tomorrow🖤💛❤️

Our Aboriginal flag markings are in place as we get ready to celebrate and recognise the rich culture, history and contributions of First Nations peoples this Sunday.

A reminder to all players, families and supporters to join us at 12:00pm for a special cultural performance and acknowledgement of Country.

This Sunday at Tonbridge Oval, the Rams will proudly come together to recognise and celebrate Indigenous Round, thanks to the support of our major sponsors Ramsgate RSL Memorial Club and Societie Group

At 12:00pm, our club will come together for a special cultural performance as we acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land and celebrate the rich history, culture and contributions of First Nations peoples.
