Just received news on our friend Barry Jones. Barry is now in Calvary hospital undergoing rehab on his broken hip. Unfortunately his ward has contracted a bug and all patients are under isolation for the next 5 days. So you are unable to visit Bazza until 6th April. In the interim, give him a call on his mobile, he'd love to hear from you.

Unfortunately the TP 4s quarter final between Matt Airey's team and Brad Miles' team had to be called off this morning due to a heavy downpour just before play started and continuous rain thereafter. We hope to get this game completed next Friday 13th Feb. to bring the tournament back into line.

It is with much sadness that I report the passing of popular member and our good mate Doug Tasker. Doug passed away ay 10pm last night after a long battle with health issues. Our love and thoughts are with his wife Kay, daughter Kylie and son Steve. RIP Dougy.

Another popular member of our club, Harold Yates, has today had his knee replacement surgery today and is already up and walking. Harold will remain in hospital till the 20th November after which he will be transferred to Waratah Private for 2 weeks of rehab. We wish Harold a speedy recovery.

At Port City Bowlo with a couple of Ramsgate RSL old boys Neil Lang and Peter Madden. Both are doing well and say hello to all back in Sydney.

I just got off the phone to Michael London who would really love some of his bowling club mates to visit him in hospital. Calvary hospital Kogarah, Ground floor room 30. He is cleared of covid and anyone can visit him. Come on Ramsgate RSL Bowling club members take a bit of time out of your week to visit Michael. We all know hospitals are a lonely place and he is missing everyone so much. It isn't far to travel and it would certainly lift his spirits.
