I had hoped to be promoting Railton Bike Show on the mainland up to Adelaide and back. I don't know the status of the show but went for the ride anyway. Bike is running well and obtained 35 km/lt or 99.4 mpg at 95 km/ hr at 3200 revs. Here's the bike at Murray Bridge

Due to unforeseen circumstances the Railton Bike Show committee has cancelled the Bike Show for 2023. Planning for 2024's show will start early in 2023. Anyone who would like to volunteer to help Please make contact here. Safe riding to you all.

It is with great regret that the Bike Show committee has cancelled the Railton Bike Show for this year. The covid situation was deemed too risky at the moment. Our apologies to all of you polishing and preparing your bikes.

Its good to have helpful eyes out there in the biking community. Thanks for letting us know about the Black Dog Run in March, The committee has been informed and will come back with another date.
There may still be some of the original A4 posters out there with January's date. If you see one please take it down for us. Again, thanks for telling us.

Due to the uncertainty, and changing nature of the current covid situation, the Bike Show committee has reluctantly decided to postpone the Bike Show until March 20th. The committee wants to do the right thing for the community and all bike riders. In the meantime, keep polishing your bike and we will see you later.

Hi everyone, the Bike Show Committee has just had a meeting and there are a few changes.
Due to extra costs for Covid (we have to hire covid cleaners for the day) Entry is now $10 per person, (under 12 free). The show will now run from 10 am to 4 pm. All bikes entering the competition must be in place before 12.
Oh yes! there is now a new entry point directly on to the oval.

RAILTON BIKE SHOW 2022. Sunday 23rd January, 10 am - 2 pm. There are 14 categories: American; British; European; Japanese; Asian; New Riders (L and P); Sidecar; Trikes; Custom; Café Racer; Adventure; Pre 1920; Pre 1939; 1960-1972. Plus best in show.
Entry is $5 per person.
All bikes must be ridden into position; if you are trailering your bikes then you have to unload, start up and ride to the competition area. (there is a designated unload area).
There must be a minimum of 3 bikes in any category to form a competition.
Looking forward to a great show. Covid requirements as per govt.

Bike Show 2022. Yes its on! There is a new committee to take over the show and they are very excited. So, start working on and polishing your bikes. there should be some new categories to capture your attention. And a new entry point for quick and easy access to the grassed area.

The Railton Progress Association is working to hand over the running of the Railton Bike Show to another organization. We will know by the end of May which group will be administering this great Railton event.
