Fiji here we come 🇫🇯🏋🏻‍♀️

Our own Head Coach will be leading the Australian Youth Team and athletes and .thorley1 will be competing for Australia next week 🔥💪🏼

This Commonwealth Champs will be a special one! As Nate’s 1st International competition representing Australia, we would like to acknowledge our young gun and the hard work he has put in!

Not only is it Nate’s 1st, it is also Jackson Solofa’s 1st International Coaching gig!

And lastly, Liv Kelly, our tenacious — and newly married — athlete will be competing at her 5th International.

Massive congratulations to our athlete Logan P**n! Winning 3 Gold Medals as the AWF, Oceania and UMWF World Cup masters champion in her F73/40-44 Category 🥇🥇🥇

Logan lifted incredibly well, going 6/6 with a best of 65kg sn**ch 81kg clean and jerk which is a new UMWF record!

Massive congratulations to the man himself Steve Graham aka “SPEEDY” adding another 3 Gold Medals to his already impressive medal collection 🥇🥇🥇

Speedy is the AWF, Oceania and UMWF Masters World Cup Champion in the M71/50-54 Category, also adding another 3 Australian National records with a 75kg Sn**ch, 105kg Clean and Jerk, 180kg Total!

YOUTH INTERNATIONAL GRADE UNLOCKED 🫡

A massive congratulations to our Youth athlete Olivia Coker, hitting the international grade of 120kg (F55) which qualifies her for selection into an Australian Team for an International competition 😍

Olivia achieved this grade with a PB Sn**ch of 51kg Sn**ch 69kg Clean and Jerk. Special thank you to Cougars Weightlifting Club for allowing us the opportunity to join, and for hosting an awesome competition!
